This is my unique take on landfall. The goal here isn't just to get a bunch of landfall triggers each turn with typical interactions (e.g. Retreats, Field of the dead, Omnaths, etc.). Rather, the deck tries to couple the landfall triggers with stax-like effects with cards like storm cauldron, overburden, and/or mana breach. While it may be counter-intuitive, this build actually increases the landfall triggers. The key limitation to most landfall decks is running out of lands to drop. By bouncing your own lands with global effects, you assymetrically exploit your landfall benefits (with the numerous ways to play additional lands). Also counter-intuitive, you actually wind up with more mana per turn as well. For a five-color deck, the manabase is remarkably consistent (to the point that it defies the typical calculations, actually). There are numerous ways to go infinite and numerous non-infinite - but usually still game-winning - combos. The deck is complex to play but rewarding for those that like to think many moves ahead. Golos works even better than expected.
