I wanted to make a {BR} deck and Kobolds seem like pretty cool little dudes, with this deck taking on a treasure theme to pull in its secondary dragon element, or perhaps kobolds are just the foil to facilitate this, who knows!

Synergies & Combos

Archwing Dragon + Sneak Attack + Flameshadow Conjuring Show

For only {R}{R} we can cheat out Archwing Dragon + a token copy of it and skip sneak attack's downside with Archwing's effect of bouncing it back to our hand!

Rohgahh, Kher Keep Overlord + Maskwood Nexus Show

With Maskwood Nexus we get to trigger both of Rohgahh's abilities when we play our creatures (provided we pay {2}) creating both Kobold and Dragon tokens also extending Rohgahh's +2/+2 buff to all of our creatures as well.

Similarly our shapeshifter creatures benefit all of Rohgahh's abilities naturally by way of the changeling keyword.

Blast-Furnace Hellkite + Crash Through Show

Straight forward way to maximize the double strike our creatures gain from Hellkite with trample to push through as much damage as we can in spite of our opponents blockers.

Board Control

Not very many options but we do have some

For clearing creatures we rely on Fire Covenant to damage priority targets and similarly Terror of the Peaks & Dragon Tempest dealing damage when we play our dragons.

First & Double strike tilts trades in our favor coming from cards like: Looming Spires, Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep, Blast-Furnace Hellkite, Kobold Overlord & Temur Battle Rage

Sarkhan the Masterless deters potential attacks against us.

To target key combo pieces, especially enchantments & artifacts, we use Wild Magic Surge

Lastly when the game slogs on and many of our creatures, instances & sorceries are in the graveyard we can get some extra mileage out of them with Past in Flames and bring them back to the battlefield or hand with cards like Haven of the Spirit Dragon, Bladewing the Risen, Rivaz of the Claw, Swift Warkite & Agadeem's Awakening
