I think the sentiment of most people (myself included) is just to check with the folks you're playing with and try to set some 'ground rules' for the power level of your decks, or rather just make sure the proxies don't come at the cost of people having fun at the table.
I personally don't have any proxies as of now, I've been lucky that the cards I want are in my price range, but for the next deck I'm considering I will be getting one or two proxies for it. I don't really think one should feel bad about about not being able to afford the original and considering a proxy instead. Some cards like Kobold Overlord just haven't had many reprints and the price reflects that rarity, while what seemed like a matter weeks I watched Sheoldred, the Apocalypse double then triple in price, and $60+ for a single card is kinda like . . . bruh >_>
I guess ultimately I'm just in the business of making decks I find fun and that I think will make an interesting mix vs my buddies decks at the table.

My inclination is to split between kobolds and dragons. So some cards that care about kobolds (Kobold Drill Sergeant, Kobold Overlord, Kobold Taskmaster), and some that care about dragons.
Ebondeath, Dracolich is probably decently good in that style of deck. If they kill him just sacrifice the kobold you got from killing him to recast him, getting another kobold.
The dragons with devour could also be interesting: Predator Dragon, Preyseizer Dragon, and Voracious Dragon

There's also the flagbearers: Coalition Flag Coalition Honor Guard Standard Bearer But they don't really have synergy with each other. You might be able to pull some shenanigans if you give a flagbearer hexproof or protection with a changeling out though.
Thelon of Havenwood, Fungal Bloom, Sporesower Thallid, Savage Thallid and Pallid Mycoderm are all listed as saprolings. I don't know if you merged fungus and saproling intentionally, but if you did it might make sense to change saproling tech to saproling/fungus tech.

There are some other tribal cards too but you have a couple different tribes going so idk how much you want to focus on any of them. As for mana I would say put some duel lands in to help you get all your colors easier. It looks good though, if you need anything else I'll try to help.

My specific wants are a little out there. I am building a Kobold deck, and need 2x Kobold Overlords and a couple others for that.
Been wanting to build General Tazri in EDH, but I don't have any lands, so not sure that will be worth it. So I will need lands that come in untapped if I do that.
Artifacts especially rocks for Tazri. Spells like tutors, weird things, old things. I mean some creatures I am sure I would like just don't know the new stuff. Pretty much anything cool from the Old Shool format, revised and before, since I am getting kinda into that.
