UmuraleFireseer Thank you!

I was running Rapacious Dragon, Shivan Devastator, and Leyline Tyrant. I do like that more dragons protect from sac effects like Plaguecrafter but in a deck with card disadvantage like counter spells and looting, I found the utility of instants and sorceries that have multiple modes more helpful.

If I ever want to change up the deck I would totally go that route!

Krom3 Thank you for your comment.

You‘re right with the copy-ability… otherwise Shivan Devastator is a very flexible creature which supports the dragon theme. The theme was more important to me than the actuall deck-powder.

I would recommend getting rid of Shivan Devastator, unfortunately Miirym does not copy the counters on it when it comes in so it comes in as a 0/0 and dies immediately.

it looks like the combo here is Devoted Druid equipped with Luxior, Giada's Gift to produce infinite mana then using Shivan Devastator/Crater's Claws or anything else as an outlet to kill with it.

The main issue I see with the deck is finding the druid or gift. the only way i see you finding them short of mulling aggressively is with Genesis Hydra thats not exactly an efficient way to look for them. fetching the druid can be done with anything similar to Finale of Devastation. but getting gift is a bit tricker and you may just need to dig hard with cards like Cathartic Reunion.

Wickked yeah it is a bunch of fun. It'd be more fun if I could test play it more regularly. Ahaha.Im still undecided on the value of Professional Face-Breaker and Atsushi, the Blazing Sky they are sitting in the boulder along with Gamekeeper, Shivan Devastator, Junji, the Midnight Sky, and Sheoldred, Whispering One.

Verzantas, the Raider

Legendary Creature - Spirit Pirate Warlock

Verzantas, the Raider can't be blocked except by three or more creatures.

Whenever Verzantas, the Raider is dealt combat damage, untap him and he deals 1 damage to each creature dealt damage this turn.

Shivan Devastator adds another iconic creature overlap. Create a Demon Hydra.

Here's my take:

Glad to finally see an Alt win Card in a new color scheme. Ajani, Sleeper Agent should be a boon to anyone looking to a Selesnya infect deck. If built right Abzan Infect Storm with Hand of the Praetors could be a possibility.

While Karn, Living Legacy doesn't add anything new to Tron or animate noncreature artifacts, it should be a help in Karn Tribal decks. The first ability can either help cast Karn Liberated sooner or be a support for the constructs made by by Karn, Scion of Urza. Plus it's ult can get around the Karn, the Great Creator/Mycosynth Lattice combo. KLL's power may be in its subtlety, but there's more to it. And I can't figure it out.

I'm liking the enlist mechanic. It should mesh well with exalted and other abilities and mechanics that give creatures a bonus for attacking alone.

The read ahead mechanic on the new sagas is a brilliant idea. You can farm the lore counters with Power Conduit, move them onto non-saga cards like Mind Unbound or speed up other Sagas through Nesting Grounds.

No new slivers or thrulls. Disappointing, but not unexpected.

As happy as I am about Liliana making an appearance, why reprint Liliana of the Veil, but not Arvad the Cursed? I don't know, maybe I'm being ridiculous.

Shivan Devastator is the kind of card I'd like to put in a monored Dragon deck. Now if the price can only come down a lot.

Tear Asunder is a huge upgrade from Revoke Existence.

While playable in 1v1 games, Ramses, Assassin Lord's alternate win ability is meant for multi-player. Unless of course you build a deck where everyone loses and Ramses prevents that.

Overall, we got a good set.
