Budget upgrades for Adaptive Enchantments/Estrid!

Estrid generates mana with enchanted lands and the totem armor effect screams VOLTRON!!!

Strategy:

1) Mass auras on lands combos with Estrid's +2!!! Mass creatures/auras while drawing tons of cards and maintaining card advantage.

2) Protect with totem armor and/or shroud enchantments.

3) Voltron-style attack, with defensive enchantment control.

4) You're unstoppable because many of your auras will simply be returned to your hands & generate even greater card advantage.

I think this deck works great with flicker effects like Flickering Ward or Gatherer of Graces+Rancor. These triggers with enchantment/aura casts work wonderfully with Heroic effects as well. Or try Livewire Lash for some serious damage. But of course, that's just my style (aggro).

Please understand: a majority of the decklist is W/U. This is because blue's greatest strengths: drawing spells & counterspells aren't necessary. Enchantress effects already draw cards and hexproof/shroud/totem armor takes care of the need to counter destructive spells.

Key mechanics to note:

Totem/Protective Armor: Hyena Umbra, Spider Umbra, Snake Umbra, Alexi's Cloak, Flickering Ward, Umbra Mystic, etc)

Heroic: triggers with any aura cast (Tethmos High Priest, Triton Cavalry, Triton Fortune Hunter, Wavecrash Triton, Phalanx Leader)

Reusable Auras: When (aura) is put into the battlefield, return (aura) to owner's hand. (Rancor, Brilliant Halo, Spirit Loop, Aspect of Mongoose, and also the 1-mana return to hand set: Whip Silk, Flickering Ward, Shimmering Wings)

Enchantress: Whenever you cast an enchantment spell, draw a card. Verduran Enchantress, Argothian Enchantress, Mesa Enchantress, Satyr Enchanter

Cantrip: When ____ enters the battlefield, draw a card. This, in addition to enchantress effects, increases the likelihood you'll draw into another aura. (Abundant Growth, Angelic Gift)

Oblivion ring "combo" - sacrificing an enchantment while its ETB effect is on the stack (Sacrifice: Auratog, Gatherer of Graces (auras only), Faith Healer). Combo with Parallax Wave, Parallax Tide, Oblivion Ring, Journey to Nowhere, etc.

Bant "exalted"/Voltron (Rafiq of the Many, Ancestral Mask)

Phantom Centaur & other related phantoms are also very effective with auras such as Seton's Desire. See the "Spectral Slam" from Judgment.
