Crystallization

Enchantment — Aura

Enchant creature

Enchanted creature can't attack or block.

When enchanted creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, exile that creature.

Never seen Crystallization before, how has it performed?

Not an expert on U/W spirits but I can give a few suggestions

Mausoleum Wanderer in the side board at least can really help against certain matchups

If you would like, you can go the Tallowisp route, with auras like Steel of the Godhead. This strategy works really well with Geist of Saint Traft, as a 4/4 unblockable lifelinking beater that makes 4/4 angels is pretty good. If you do go this route, I also suggest Hyena Umbra and Unstable Mutation, offering protection and brute force respectively.

Also Rattlechains can work well if you like

I love Pithing Needle in the sideboard, but I think that Crystallization can be cut, I think you have enough removal/ counters so you can keep the board mostly clear. Throw in some yard hate.

not sure about Norn's Annex in the side board, maybe more removal or possibly Supreme Verdict in that spot. In my eyes you'd play annex against a fast creature deck, turn 5 is too late and turn 3 plus 4 life seems pretty steep as well. Spirits have always struggled from trying to control, but also being aggressive by nature. Again I'm not sure hoe the meta works with this card, as I am not actively playing modern, but it just seems strange to me.

This is 100 percent up to you but if you feel you easily get a snow land out for On Thin Ice, then you can throw in Minamo, School at Water's Edge /Celestial Colonnade / Eiganjo Castle

Other than that I really like the deck 10/10 name btw lmao let me know If I need to clarify anything or if you need any more help!

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm not really concerned about the split second with Krosan Grip. Crystallization is a good political tool, and i like the versatility of Bant Charm. Pact of Negation is good, I'll have to consider it. Path to Exile was in here at one point, but i cut it for more counterspells.

Thanks for the upvote!

I would probably find a spot for Krosan Grip, the split second really comes in handy so I make sure to include it in any green deck I have. I would suggest removing Crystallization or Bant Charm for it. In fact, I think it would probably be best to remove both and include Krosan Grip along with another cheap removal spell or counterspell. (Pact of Negation or Path to Exile might work well).

I feel like Carven Caryatid could also replace one of the vanilla walls in here. It might not be a wall, but the draw may make it useful.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the deck!

I've made some changes to the deck that seem to be for the better: - Changed 2 of the plains with Blossoming Sands; Because it's not running that many lands, getting a green source is essential, and also helps against burn. - Upped Wild Growth to 4 - Upped Heliod's Pilgrim to 4. It's just an amazing asset to this deck. - Added a single Journey to Nowhere to the deck, and one to the sideboard.

I noticed you removed Nylea's Presence; while it's the worst land aura, I really think it contributes quite a bit, specially if you're running cards in the sideboard which aren't WG.

Instead of Arrest, I would run something cheaper, like Journey to Nowhere, Crystallization, or even Lignify. For the decks you need it, you need it quick. Duress has really helped me in many pairings.

in UW we have Crystallization , it's nearly the same thing as Journey to Nowhere but has less chance of giving an opponent's creature an extra ETB effect for when that matters. I'd also ditch Loyal Sentry for Sunscape Familiar .
