Overview and Strategy

This deck aims to deny opponents the lands needed to play their gameplan and hamper the effectiveness of creatures. After locking up the game, it wins by grinding it out with multiple turns of small creature damage until we win or opponents concede.

Solid deck. I like the idea of it, and stick to it. The only thing I would fit in is Sorin Markov. He is in the maybeboard but I would 100% add him. His abilities are just so good, and would lineup wins for you so easily once you get the strategy of this deck rolling.

Some insane Ghave combo cards: Sigil Captain, Champion of Lambholt, Bloodspore Thrinax, and Protean Hydra. I would definitely mainboard Hardened Scales and Cathars' Crusade.

I love the deck. Definitely not a direction I would have anticipated with Ghave. People usually focus on the infinite combos involving him. I definitely like the land approach.

You have your direction pretty much down here, so I won't suggest any cards or combo. But if you're interested, feel free to check out my Ghave deck for a different take on him.

I've played against Dies_to_Doomblade's list in real life and let me tell you it's miserable (in the best way possible). I would say the closer you can get to his list without losing your own personal flair the better.

Thanks for the feedback.

MrKrabs: Thanks for the input. I was inspired by that list and did use it as a starting point for mine.

JaysomeDecks: Thanks for the comments. I did take Ghave in a different direction. I will for sure take a look at your deck too.

Why are you playing Kozilek, Butcher of Truth? There's no denying that it's powerful, but it doesn't seem to fit the rest of the deck.

I'm not a huge fan of Living Plane, since it seems risky unless you have the other combo pieces.

What are your thoughts on including indestructible lands (Darksteel Citadel and Cascading Cataracts), since you have mass land destruction?
