Sideboard

So I wanted to create a Companion deck, and Gyruda just seemed like the most fun because it's also a silly Clone mill deck that could also do fun controlly Dimir things.

I chose Yidris as the commander so that I could maximize the possible even-costed clones in the deck, and there weren't really any better options. (And, hey, you get to play Dockside in a Gyruda deck!)

Cascade isn't even good in this deck because of the counterspells.

Anyway, the real goal of this deck is just getting Gyruda down as soon as possible and get as many activations of Gyruda as you can. You may just mill everyone else out. Even if not, it's damn fun to try.

Oh, and the name of deck is a play on the song title "California Dreaming." That's why it's like that.
