I'm definitely playing a Budget deck. Monastery Mentor is wayyyy too expensive, haha. And I'm not sure what I'm playing, it's generally a competition, but not an actual tournament, and I don't know if the other players are just playing casual decks or not. I want to win of course, but I'm not going to try to buy the newest best deck possible.

Counterspells are, to me, the most frustrating to face and the most satisfying to play, especially ones that tie up their mana, and when they are played early and the opponent can't afford it makes the mana cost doubly better. I'd love to run Mana Leak! Should I run Izzet Charm at all? The drawing power is what attracts me most, and it's ilke a two colored Mana Leak, but it makes the opponent pay 1 less mana... I don't know if it's a good card or not.

IF I go with a major aikido theme, without having cards that have copy, what could I use? I love being able to 'reflect' damage, it's a really cool and fun concept and generally isn't played much. Hence my love for Boros Reckoner and Deflecting Palm.

And I am using Shock and Lightning Strike because they're like a cheaper damage-for-damage Ionize and Boros Reckoner respectively, but they cost less mana, and I already have these cards without having to buy them. In this fashion, should I run Illusory Wrappings or Slither Blade? The former would be great for Izzet Charm and it's like a Lawmage's Binding but weakens the creature, and I think the latter is a great card for continuous 1 damage.

You don't think that I'll destroy myself with Eidolon of the Great Revel?! With 4x Guttersnipe and 4x Electrostatic Field I can really see myself winning quite fast with burn of low mana cost, or losing really fast as well, haha. How about Shock, and/or, what about Illusory Wrappings and/or Slither Blade and Lightning Strike? 4x Boros Reckoner is one of my favorite cards, and would be far more useful than Monastery Mentor, no? When I reach three mana, I want to have at least casted one or two, three at most, burn spells, and a Boros Reckoner is a good 3 mana for 3 or more damage, which I'm counting on my opponent to do more than, so I'd like to have it as a sort of hidden advantage, just as with my Deflecting Palm, which both I will use later in the game when I know they're pulling out their big ones if I cannot finish them off early. Nearly all of my burn cards will be used early in the game, of course, so these sorts of hidden gems will be useful; also, no matter what, the opponent will not want to speed up his/her death with Boros Reckoner, especially if they have a very powerful card. I think some draw cards would make this deck far more useful, as I'm at least 12/60 chance of drawing a nice burn card out of 4x Boros Charm, 4x Lightning Bolt, and 4x Lightning Helix. And Ionize is one of the best counter spells, which I'm wary of facing, besides Wizard's Retort and Counterspell, but I understand that it is a 3 drop for 1 counter and 2 damage; best to keep in sideboard, I guess. I think winning on at most turn 6 is what I'm aiming for, and I think with the Skullcrack and Eidolon of the Great Revel it will increase my advantage. Soulfire Grand Master is kinda what I plan on getting with the package of Eidolon of the Great Revel, but I'll try the latter without the former, first.

So here's what I've done: removed 3x Galvanic Iteration and added 3x Eidolon of the Great Revel; removed 2x Ionize and added 2x Shock; removed 1x Boros Reckoner and added 1x Lightning Strike. Perhaps this is much better?

I attack with Bruna, Light of Alabaster , I have Eldrazi Conscription and Octopus Umbra in the graveyard.

1- if both auras go on bruna does she become a 18/18 or a 8/8? How do counters vs. cards like Giant Growth , effect base and power?

2- if bruna is enchanted by Octopus Umbra and Illusory Wrappings what is her base power and toughness? If she is enchanted with Octopus Umbra and I use Gigantomancer on her does she become a 7/7 or 8/8?

3 - can I choose to enchant with the eldrazi and NOT with the umbra?

4 - both have attack triggers, do they activate or has bruna already attacked?

Illusory Wrappings has a CMC of 2 in the card database, visible by sorting by mana cost. It's CMC should be 3, as shown on the card.

Yes there are creatures that self hate but they are probably not worth playing. Plague Belcher,Channeler Initiate,Soulstinger,Decimator Beetle,Exemplar of Strength, ect.

Cards that are like Illusory Wrappings that are cheaper make the target lose all abilities such as Frogify.

Here's my updated deck with spots open for cheap damage dealing creatures that deal damage to the player. Also, are there any cheaper cards with regard to mana cost that are like Illusory Wrappings and Reduce in Stature? Or creatures that self-hate?

Startling Development, Taranika, Akroan Veteran, Illusory Wrappings, and Reduce in Stature are some that do the job without making the card lose all abilities.
