Replaced Yavimaya Elder for Seer of the Last Tomorrow , Swiftfoot Boots for Whispersilk Cloak and finally some card I don't recall for added graveyard recovery in Wildest Dreams . Based on the last few games I played with that setup, I had a LOT of response all the time by being able to get back valuable cards from the graveyard with Regrowth, Recollect, Wildest Dreams and reanimating Eternal Witness.

Welp, seems I only have 2 Jace's Phantasms OTL. I looked through some cards and selected possible replacements for the Phantom Monsters and Assassinates which are as follows:

1 of each Death's Caress, Reave Soul, Stab Wound, Psychic Spiral, The Eldest Reborn, Dinrova Horror, Homarid Explorer

2 of each Blizzard Specter, Seer of the Last Tomorrow

3 of each Fill with Fright

4 of each Doorkeeper

I made a Deck without Patient Rebuilding, but maybe you can play it in the deck =o

I think that the Homarid Explorer, with the high cost isn't that good and the Seer of the Last Tomorrow doesn't fit, because he mills three cards for an extra mana and one of your cards.

What i've done is that i'm using the Psychic Corrosion with card draws, but on your deck it's just a combo piece for the Patient Rebuilding and mills 2 cards per turn, what's not exactly what you want for .

For defense there are many useful cards. I've tried the Haze of Pollen, if you're playing against combat damage relied on decks it's very effective and if not you could cycle it and maybe get some value out of the Psychic Corrosion

If you have some card ideas let me know i'm building a mill deck too right now =D

Having said all that, I ended up changing the deck a bit, added a board wipe -- River's Rebuke , a extra Hieroglyphic Illumination, and one Patient Rebuilding along with a Syncopate. I took out the Seer of the Last Tomorrow so unfortunately you can't block the 1/1 attackers, but you probably lose to that type of deck anyway. Thanks for the suggestion ToeJam!

Patient Rebuilding is a great card but at 5 cost you just need more counters/board wipes in the deck or you will almost always die before you can do much with it. Plus, it costs so much that you don't have extra mana for countering/drawing on their turn. This is why I find Baral's Expertise much better-- it's a great tempo card, lets you survive for longer and you can almost always play a 3 drop from your hand with it since you have so many in the deck. If you can get 1 Fraying Sanity and 1 Psychic Corrosion out that's usually enough with the Ipnu Rivulet mill and Champion of Wits to deck them out in a couple of turns. I am thinking of taking Seer of the Last Tomorrow out for something, maybe more counter spells, because they just use any creature removal they have on it and it doesn't go off that much.

Also, have you considered Seer of the Last Tomorrow?

Love it, just recommend Seer of the Last Tomorrow and Torment of Hailfire, if you are willing to splash it in.
