Dissuade opponents from attacking you, play politics to set up your combos and strike when it's least expected! The deck can be tweaked to be more competitive by subbing in tutors. Despite the powerful cards present, I've found this deck to be quite the glass cannon, and have learned to simply enjoy the thrill of battle!

Illness in the Ranks + Forbidden Orchard can be used to trigger Toshiro Umezawa's Instant flshback ability.

Illness in the Ranks + Sedgemoor Witch can be used for lifegain on each Instant or Sorcery cast.
