Yeah, I am gonna take that advice and grab some checklands sometime next week. Chamber Sentry is decent removal, but I might put Walk the Plank on the sideboard, just to add a little bit more. Might also go down a Sparring Construct and a Juggernaut to grab a couple more lands.

Can't believe I accidentally linked someone's random deck.

SynergyBuild on Wonderwall - Infinite Turn 4 Win

Wow, this deck is incredible.

It can win in a format on turn 4 that wins on turn 4, but normally wins on turn 6.

I'll rephrase that,

Wow, this deck is incredibly bad.

I mean, it can't even deal with storm on a good hand with storm on a mull to 5.

But, to be fair to it, it wins with style.

I guess I mean it is incredibly badass.

It blocks well, and comboes with walls, there isn't much more cool than blocking to win a game or something like that.

But it sucks as a combo, it's slow, and more importantly, it is like a 5-6 card combo or something. Super clunky.

I guess I should say it is just ass.

Yeah, I mean no matter how cool a combo is, if you never get to it, it isn't worth playing.

But damn, in a more casual playgroup, it would be legendary, yeah, I'd imagine people running JUGGERNAUTS in their sideboard.

So yeah, pretty kickass.

All in all - meh.

Rhadamanthus on The Scarab God vs Clever …

@Raging_Squiggle The eternalize ability and The Scarab God work by means of a modified copy effect and are applied in Layer 1.

706.9c Some copy effects modify a characteristic as part of the copying process. The final value(s) for that characteristic becomes part of the copiable values for the copy.
Example: Copy Artifact is an enchantment that reads, "You may have Copy Artifact enter the battlefield as a copy of any artifact on the battlefield, except it's an enchantment in addition to its other types." It enters the battlefield as a copy of Juggernaut. The copiable values of the Copy Artifact now match those of Juggernaut with one modification: its types are now artifact, creature, and enchantment.
