Vedalken Infuser Discussion

Coretapper , Energy Chamber , and Vedalken Infuser or are straight up proliferate effects just better you think?

Most of the big ones can be cheated out somehow, or cost reduced to come out earlier. They can however be slow without the right set up. Like Mage Ring and Col. Syria need Voltaic Key or Unwinding Clock to be more useful. Perhaps I could lose a few though, I had thought of including Bosh with them so they could swing then fling. Felt like it required more dedication to it though.

Love the Bastion and Sage for additions. Lux Cannon is also a nice addition for our removal suite.

As for lattice, that is far outside what I'm willing to pay for colorful cardboard. Tyrant is in the main, but I've kinda been wondering if he's worth it without lattice. S. Tithe is a nice addition, the tutors could also improve plays. I just dont want to get to a point that it's the same play every game. As for owning the cards, I make decks before I purchase to try and work out kinks before wasting money. Also I try to keep in it the 200 total range so it's not impossible to put together in the real world.

Thanks all for the suggestions, its very much appreciated.

Cool deck.

There are a couple of cool cards you could add, depending on what type of things you want the deck to do.

Ezuri, Claw of Progress can be really good in a creature heavy Atraxa deck like this, as you can proliferate the experience counters. If you add Sage of Hours you can get an infinite turns combo. Azor's Elocutors can also be an additional wincon.

Vedalken Infuser and Energy Chamber are good free proliferate engines, and can work really well with cards like Magistrate's Scepter and Darksteel Reactor.

If you would prefer non-combo wincons, Call for Unity can be pretty good.

I see Vedalken Infuser in here, but no charge counter artifacts. You can either replace it with something like Tezzeret the Seeker , Memnarch, Muzzio, Visionary Architect, etc. or you can put in some charge counter artifacts like Lux Cannon, Titan Forge, Golem Foundry, Grindclock, etc.

If you are an infinite combos kind of guy, here's some stuff for you.

Blasting Station+Summoning Station creates a lovely little infinite damage loop.

Aphetto Alchemist+Myr Turbine+Illusionist's Bracers creates a nice infinite Myrs combo.

Considering how many colorless cards you have, you might be able to get away with playing "slow-lands" for fixing (I'm not quite sure tho, but it could be Worth trying out) :Thalakos Lowlands/Cloudcrest Lake

Splashing Blue also lets you play cards like: Vedalken Engineer, Etherium Sculptor, Riddlesmith and Vedalken Infuser or even Filigree Sages for a very awkward way of generating infinite mana with Astral Cornucopia.

I'm not sure how good the Tectonic Edge is here, unless you run into "Tron" 24/7, could be Worth taking out for more consistency. Likewise the Radiant Fountain can be replaced with more solid mana (slow lands maybe? ;P) and something like Golden Urn

Not sure if these suggestions will help, but here they are.

Master Transmuter-Ummmm... Pay 1 mana for Blightsteel Colossus?

Shape Anew-This may or may not work, but it does get artifacts on the field.

Fabricate-Tutor up an artifact, nuff said.

Vedalken Infuser-I see some charge counter stuff in there, so I thought this might be useful.

Memnarch-Not sure whether or not he will really be useful in this deck, but he's a good artifact creature.

Etherium Sculptor-Who doesn't want cheaper artifact spells?

More charge counter artifacts such as Lux Cannon, Titan Forge or Golem Foundry.

And, if you're willing to spend a bit more on this deck,

Mycosynth Lattice-All your things are artifacts, making Mycosynth Golem's ability utterly broken as you pump out your artifact creatures for free.

Master of Etherium-Need I say more?

Again, I am not completely sure if these are the types of cards you want in your deck, these suggestions are all coming from my Keranos and His Artifacts deck. Hope they help. If they don't, sorry for wasting your time.
