Main Mechanism

This deck is built for triggering landfall abilities and turning lands into creatures.

Using Bonny Pall, Clearcutter, along with bounce lands, land sacrifice effects, fetches, etc. can easily allow for land recursion and multiple land drops a turn.

Ramp quickly into Bonny for value, then finish the game out either with big swings with Beau or by swarming the board with man-lands using effects like Living Lands, Rude Awakening, or Awaken the Woods.

Theme

Paul Bunyan is a lumberjack and known for cutting down forests with his huge axe, so we need to include at least one axe equipment and Greataxe fits the bill. We also need to include some land destruction with Mana Vortex and Field of Ruin. There is also some land sacrifice which is thematic.
