Welcome to the Dungeon!!! My scheming Sultai commander of choice for this spicy brew is none other than Volrath, the Shapestealer! His shapeshifting abilities lend themselves well to many different interactions that focus around putting -1-1 counters on creatures to temporarily gain their abilities. This leads to fun shenanigans based around combat tricks that you don't normally see in the Sultai colors. Volrath seeks to conduct his wicked and vile experiments on any creature that he can take advantage of, even my own! Each creature in the deck offers a variety of ways to gain take advantage of their keywords that provide evasion to allow me swing in and start chipping away with commander damage. This originally started out as an infect deck, but has moved away from that strategy entirely to evolve into this fun and janky little experiment. I am excited to keep this deck around long-term, as I hope there will continue to be new creatures to add that will synergize with this strategy as new sets come out.
