Sideboard

Maybeboard

Deck Breakdown: This dino tribal list is fairly expensive and relatively optimized to be really good (maybe not cEDH level good) but is designed to be fast and hit hard (and most importantly, is fun to play). I leaned more heavily into dinosaurs by running all dinosaurs in the creature slot to allow Gishath to get more hits (as sometimes decks struggle getting consistent dino hits with Gishath). So, I have made sure to include a decent number of dinosaurs and went through to find what I think are the "best ones" (or at least very good ones) in my opinion and included dinos with a lower CMC to enable the deck to curve out. By running only dinos, you can also run Kaheera, the Orphanguard as a companion which acts as a way to buff the dinos a bit and give them vigilance which goes well with the enrage mechanic as you can both attack with the dinos and leave them as blockers to block and get dealt damage or disincentivize the opponents from attacking you. I've included a decent amount of ramp in this list as it is important to be really fast with this deck (the earlier Gishath hits, the better). However, I have also included a decent amount of protection as board wipes and removal can really put this deck behind and cause this deck to be a little "glass cannon". There are also a few ways in the list to give Gishath double strike which is important for ensuring more dinos hit the battlefield. The current list does not currently have a lot of removal for the opponents' things; however, I have included some more good removal options in the maybe-board if more removal ends up being needed (important to keep in mind that some of the dinos can act as a form of removal as well). I have also included alternate ramp options and mana doublers as this deck requires a lot of mana to get going and be fast enough. Currently this version is relying on cheating out the dinos with only Gishath, but alternate options like Descendant's Path and Lurking Predators (which I have included in the maybe-board as well) may be beneficial to run. Right now, I think this list is in a good place but will continue to playtest and find what works the best and update this list. Let me know if you have any ideas for improvements, critiques, comments, questions etc.

Note: This deck currently has one infinite combo with Polyraptor and Marauding Raptor, however by itself it only results in a forced draw and in order to win the deck will need to include something like Warstorm Surge. This list is not looking to win using this combo but instead win with a lot of dinos in combat. There is another combo with Aggravated Assault and Bear Umbra or Sword of Feast and Famine to allow for infinite combat steps or at least enough to get enough dinos on the battlefield and enough damage through to the opponent that can be included in the deck. I have created a list that is built around these combos here.
