• add any infinite mana combo (two should be enough) > (so you can play Daghatar, use its ability to move one of his counters on any creature you control with persist, sacrifice the creature with persist for X effect, repeat the cycle, Daghatar dies due to having no counter anymore, then you recast Dagathar, repeat the cycle etc. etc. etc. (a bit boring IMO))

Daghatar the Adamant makes a better commander than Anafenza, the Foremost in this strategy (persist combo - +1/+1 counters) and is more by far reliable on the late game, but if you're planning on going really aggressive, after sideboarding switch 'em.
