Marrow-Gnawer is clearly a better rats commander but having access to five colors means amazing synergies with gems like Remembrance, Nantuko Shrine, Equilibrium, Bloodbond March etc. Instead of the krenko/ marrow gnawer style of play which I find very linear, this deck offers a totally different play experience each time. Alternate win-cons include milling them out with a bunch of rats and Altar of Dementia or drawing your whole deck (can be done in many ways) and getting a Thassa's Oracle win. Mostly its just fun to drop Morophon, the Boundless and a Herald's Horn or Locket of Yesterdays type effect to play rats for free. Make everyting rats with Arcane Adaptation and play all your creatures for free (or nearly). Stick a Beast Whisperer effect to keep it going and beat face.
