Strategy

The original idea was to just play a relaxed group hug deck with a lot of politic tools to forge alliances and make friends and such. Well, turns out that no one in my circle wants to be part of that and there are way too many degenerate combo and solitaire decks. So the idea shifted slowly to at least let everyone draw (preferably into answers) and answer combo pieces with board wipes, counter spells and stax pieces. The deck tries to make itself not a preferred target. Who wants to hit the rabbit that lets you draw like a maniac and who probably has a Settle the Wreckage in hand?

WinCon

The deck doesn't really try to win. I don't play this commander to win. Ironically, I have won 3 out of 4 games. Approach of the Second Sun can win the game on the spot in late game after the board got wiped for the 8th time. The other "WinCon" is a combination of draw effects such as Prosperity combined with Smothering Tithe and Laboratoric Maniac. The idea is to draw from one draw effect into the next and cast them with the treasures made by Smothering Tithe until you win the game by drawing your library. Never won like that though. But the cards are good on their own, so there is that.

Should I play this deck?

Do you enjoy 4 hour long games? Then yes. Otherwise, probably not.
