Hey everyone. This is my theorycrafted Osgir list. I spent a lot of time going through reddit comments and some command quarter's comments to find a huge list of cards to choose from for osgir. I would like to mention that this commander can also draw some inspiration from Daretti, Scrap Savant and especially Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle .

Obviously this deck has some holes in it. For one, I think to go the successful artifact value route it provides it needs more powerful ways to close out the game. While I haven't really found artifacts that can do this, I do think going into the Whispersilk Cloak category can be beneficial. Osgir has that powerful first ability, which makes his second ability very great. That line of text means that mana rocks become ramp (x2 provided you pay the mana total). This is where I think all of that mana advantage and artifact card advantage can go, that after building up this board WITH voltron pieces that protect osgir to then go and use his sac ability to pump him up (also that this voltron AND artifact style ramp/draw plan is also allowed not as a compromise but as an addition by the vigilance keyword). With enough cheap artifacts floating around it would be very easy to pay 3 mana to sac 3 artifacts to get a 10/4 attacking for commander dmg. Buffing him up a little like this means we can push through damage.

I think this commander is a phenomenal red white commander. It can achieve mana ramp AND significant card draw through several cards, again with red and white! But it's not done in an oppressive or overpowered way. It's also cool how there's a voltron undertone allowed here to make him a finisher, yet you can ramp and access draw all in a way that feels acceptable to red/white with artifact "refurbishment ( Refurbish ).

And if you haven't read the edh reddit on the spoiler card, consider taking a look as it goes through a lot of cool effects of the card like how lotus petal is a strictly better black lotus with his effect, or how Mox Tantalite and Lotus Bloom are 2 Mox Opal 's on a stick and a triple Black Lotus effect on a stick. And don't forget karn! Karn, the Great Creator who fetches out cards from the exile zone AND turns off opponents mana rocks. Cheers!

Also, massive credit to mitch at the commander's quarters who COMPLETELY changed my view on this commander from "eh one time artifact recursion wohoo sarcasm* (as in that's not super good)" to "wow this is really exciting!!!! Super card draw and super ramp in white/red, one of the worst color pairs!!??" He got me so excited on this deck I built a list :D thx mitch!
