The goal of this deck is pretty straight forward. You accelerate your mana base by ramping out basic lands which has the bonus benefit of thinning your deck and making your draws more effective in the late game. From there, you start dropping beater after beater and attacking with them right away with haste-givers such as Fervor, Fires of Yavimaya , or Lightning Greaves.

There are a couple of ways to cheat additional fatties onto the board including Mayael the Anima herself, Lurking Predators, and the surprisingly effective Wild Pair. There are plenty of cards devoted to noncreature removal and card draw, which are staples of the Commander Format.

The deck has two main weaknesses: board wipes and spot removal. If the deck had a higher budget, the latter of the two would be easy to address by simply including cards like Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares. Anyone looking to add additional removal might want to take a look at cards like Journey to Nowhere, Quarantine Field, and Suspension Field, among others. Fighting might be a good mechanic to look into as well.

Now, the deck's main weaknesses is to AoE removal. This has been a problem with most creature-focused beatdown decks, and this deck is no different. Other than a few solutions such as Spearbreaker Behemoth and Rootborn Defenses , your best bet is to not over commit to the board and look for/protect your haste-givers. It won't matter if your opponents can wipe your board if you can keep swinging with an 8/8 or a 9/9 from an empty board every turn. In fact, if your opponents are also wiped from a board clear, this might even be advantageous in some situations. If you're really concerned with surviving wipes, cards like Dauntless Escort , Aegis Angel , and Indestructibility might provide useful.
