By request from Karma-, here is my take on Zur the Enchanter. Karma- asked for a non-prison voltron version of Zur and I think this delivers.

In my ongoing endeavor to bring frugality to Commander, each card in this deck is under $2 and the whole deck is under $40 (not including the commander). The Strategy

1) Get Zur the Enchanter out as quickly as possible

2) Start outfitting him with protection first, as well as unblockable if the board state necessitates it, and then start pumping him up

3) Arm yourself with counters and removal as necessary to insure the victory
