Stone Free - Sisters $40 Budget Thievery

Commander / EDH BG (Golgari) Budget Ramp

The #1 Sisters of Stone Death deck on TappedOut!

Sisters of Stone Death like what your opponents have and are prepared to go to great lengths to get it. It takes a while but once you are able to get the sisters on the field, you can destroy, exile or steal your opponents' creatures at will, even taking advantage of their ETBs.

In my ongoing endeavor to bring frugality to Commander, each card in this deck is under $2 and the whole deck is under $40 (not including the commander). If you like what you see, UPVOTE! or you can check out all my other $40 budget decks. If you see some areas of improvement, let me know what you'd change. Just make sure all suggested cards are under $2.

1) Ramp

You really want to be able to start with some mana dorks and rocks early game like Elvish Mystic and Golgari Signet because your commander costs 8 mana

2) Ramp

Also, you really would like to have some land fetching spells like Cultivate and Rampant Growth because your commander costs 8 mana

3) Ramp more

Finally, you need to invent mana fusion (the MTG equivalent of cold fusion) because YOUR COMMANDER COSTS 8 MANA!!

4) Play Sisters of Stone Death and start swingin' and stealin'

1) Commander damage

2) Whatever beaters you steal from opponents

3) Big Exsanguinate

Feel free to make suggest your favorite upgrade cards to add:

Card Draw: Greater Good, Necropotence, Phyrexian Altar, Sylvan Library

Manabase: Normally, you would love to have dual/fetch/pain/etc lands in a multi-colored deck, but it really isn't very necessary since you should have a problem with color fixing by the time you cast your commander so this would be the last thing to upgrade

Ramp: Any of the pricier mana rocks work here as well as Cabal Coffers and Oracle of Mul Daya

I love the challenge of building really cheap decks. This is how the majority of my real life decks start out and then I improve them over time.
