The Strategy

Most Talrand decks shoot for creating a huge army of drakes with a ton of cantrips with storm as a backup win con. I decided to take mine in a little different direction.

Step 1 = Play Omnath, Locus of Mana and hopefully protect him

Step 2 = Play mana doublers and start collecting

Step 3 = Find one of your many win cons

The Infinite Mana Combos

Sword of the Paruns/Umbral Mantle + Elvish Archdruid/Priest of Titania/Wirewood Channeler + 3 other elves

Sword of the Paruns/Umbral Mantle + Gyre Sage with 4 counters

Sword of the Paruns/Umbral Mantle + Karametra's Acolyte with 4 devotion

Sword of the Paruns + Selvala, Heart of the Wilds with a 5 power creature

Umbral Mantle + Selvala, Heart of the Wilds + 3 mana

Sword of the Paruns/Umbral Mantle/Wirewood Lodge + Argothian Elder + any mana doubler

If these aren't complicated enough for you, I'm sure there are others.

The Win Cons

1) Omnath, Locus of Mana = commander damage

2) Chameleon Colossus or Steel Hellkite = giant beater

3) Hydra Broodmaster = beater army

4) Kamahl, Fist of Krosa or Pathbreaker Ibex + beater = buff board

5) Wolfbriar Elemental = token flood

6) Primal Surge = put most of your library on the board (unless unlucky draw)

7) Helix Pinnacle
