Mono-Red Elf Tribal

Commander / EDH* Mono-Red

Started off with 100% of the EDH-legal monored elves (excluding changelings they aren't REAL elves), and then had another 99 cards to choose, and came up with this.

But yeah, Delina, Wild Mage EDH. Attack with wanton abandon, trigger ALL the ETB effects, hope no one casts a board wipe, and cry when that one guy drops his Torpor Orb. Simple, right?

The basic synergy is pretty straight-forward. Get Delina, Wild Mage out as quickly as you can, look for someone without any blockers, and start recurring Enter-The-Battlefield triggers on other creatures. Some cards like Burnished Hart or Goblin Bombardment have the upside of allowing you to sacrifice the clone tokens before they get exiled for added benefit. Don't take my word for anything I say involving Sundial of the Infinite, it's a weird card that does weird things and I'm not a judge.

Notable Combos:

Radiant Performer (ever my favorite card) can be cast on Delina's ability so that Delina clones everything on your field instead of just a single thing.

Harmonic Prodigy hits not only Delina and Rionya, Fire Dancer, but also Radiant Performer, which would just about be the second neatest thing if it ever happens (actual neatest thing is having Harmonic Prodigy, Rionya, Fire Dancer, and Sundial of the Infinite out at the same time and making permanent Harmonic Prodigy tokens every turn and watching your number of Delina triggers repreatedly double)

Shrieking Mogg and Thundermare are intended as methods to make opponents unable to block when Delina copies them, since their ETBs go off after you've declared/tapped attackers but before opponents have declared blockers.

Port Razer with Delina, Rionya, or even Flamerush Rider kills any opponent who's unable to block that turn.

Divergent Transformations and Chaos Warp both can function as removal, or as transmogrify effects to turn your temporary Delina tokens into permanent... Permanents. Ardent Elementalist is particularly great with Divergent Transformations as a way to generate recurrent value when Delina clones her, especially particularly if you steal stuff with Coercive Recruiter or Zealous Conscripts to target.

Sundial of the Infinite is a weird card that ALMOST lets you permanently keep Delina's clone tokens, but because they made "Exile at end of combat" an ability on the token itself rather than a delayed trigger like virtually every other card which does something similar, I think the way it works in practice is "I end the turn while the exile-at-end-of-combat trigger is on the stack, so the trigger gets exiled and I get to keep them!" and then the ability triggers again and you lose them at the end of the next player's combat phase. Which is sad. But the Sundial still at minimum lets you attack with Delina and end combat without consequences if she gets blocked or removed, and it CAN be used to get permanent tokens from Rionya, Fire Dancer and Flamerush Rider (it will NOT let you permanently steal things with Zealous Conscripts or Coercive Recruiter, as a rule of thumb the Sundial can be used to exile delayed triggers like "Exile at end of turn" but won't work with "Until end of turn" effects).

Likely will fiddle around with this more looking for the right balance. Hoping for this to be a power level between my other EDH decks.
