Rionya, Fire Dancer
Legendary Creature — Human Wizard
At the beginning of combat on your turn, create X tokens that are copies of another target creature you control, where X is one plus the number of instant and sorcery spells you've cast this turn. They gain haste. Exile them at the beginning of the next end step.

Once a spell or ability is on the stack you can't move it up or down and new objects always go on the top of the stack and will resolve before anything that was already on the stack. There is also the fact that Rionya, Fire Dancer's ability targets and so Massacre Wurm will need to be on the battlefield before you move to combat in order to make copies of it.
The best interaction you are going to get with this is going to be:
Return Massacre Wurm on your first main phase.
Move to combat and put both beginning of combat triggers on the stack. Bruniclad first and Rionya on top of it targeting Massacre Wurm.
Bruniclad trigger resolves creating the 2/1 and allowing you to make it into a Massacre Wurm token.
Anything that dies in combat will have 4 Massacre Wurm see it.

Scenario is this: Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Rionya, Fire Dancer are on the battefiled with Massacre Wurm in the bin. I enter combat and respond by casting Corpse Dance targeting Masscare Wurm. When Massacre Wurm enters and the -2/-2 etb goes on the stack am I able to respond to that by allowing the combat triggers to resolve prior to the -2/-2 etb so that the Rionya triggers and makes 2 copies of Massacre Wurm, putting 2x -2/-2 etbs on the stack, and then resolve Brudiclad's trigger to create a 2/1 Myr and have all my tokens become copies of Massacre Wurm and finally allow all the -2/-2 triggers resolve so that when something on my opponents board dies 4x Massacre Wurms see it for a total of 8 lost of life per creature? It's a wonky scenario and I'm not certain if I can control my creature's etb/combat triggers in this fashion. My immediate answer was "no", but just wanted to confirm.

Intet, the Dreamer, your service for all these years has been admirable and greatly appreciated, buttttt holy hell is Miirym awesome. 100% taking over for Intet as my dragon tribal commander.
Wrathful Red dragon is just a bigger, meaner Thunderbreak Regent and I am all for it.
I've heard that Ancient Brass Dragon is an absolute flavor fail, but with that said, the Ancient "insert metal alloy" Dragon cycle seems pretty cool. Not sure if the red or blue ones are worth taking up a slot over other dragons in my Temur list, but definitely interesting. I am curious as to what the green and white ones will do.
I absolutely love the artwork on Rescuing Chwinga. No idea what those little spirits are or do in D&D, but that is some cool art.
CloudKill is exactly the type of card EDH needs more of: cards that reward one for playing higher CMC commanders. The format has skewed towards lower cmc, hyper-efficient, value based commanders, which is perfectly fine, but it's also nice to see rewards for playing those more expensive commanders.
Contraband Livestock is another excellent removal spell for white.
Balor is just cool. I want it for my Rionya, Fire Dancer deck, as attacking with multiples of this is gross. Also, it's pretty rare for us to have a mono-red demon. I guess it must be a D&D flavor thing?

I have Rionya, Fire Dancer in play, as well as Goblin Bombardment and Humble Defector. I have cast 9 total instants/sorceries during my pre-combat main phase. I move to combat; Rionya triggers, creating 10 copies of Humble Defector. I then tap all 10; while the trigger of the Defectors are on the stack, I then activate Goblin Bombardment with each one. In response to the final activation of Goblin Bombardment, my friend casts Fiery Cannonade, attempting to destroy them all. Do I still draw 20 cards? And if so, why? (I'm 99.99% sure that that's how it's supposed to work, but I'm not sure what the exact rules are on this)

No worries! I'm glad you liked my first couple suggestions ACapo18.
I've played my Isshin deck about 5-7 times IRL with some more games on the horizon for this weekend. I think I swapped out Cunning Rhetoric after my first couple of games. In my experiences, it wasn't much of a deterrent, and the cards it exiled weren't particularly useful.
I love Prosper, Tome-Bound; he's one of my recent favorite commanders. I understand how he can be a card advantage engine, but I think him and the other Impulse draw sub-theme is kind of disjointed with the aggro, go-wide stuff that Isshin wants to do. If you needed to, you can likely keep Prosper and Laelia, but Bell Borca, Spectral Sergeant feels kind of out of place compared to the other 2. If you like Impulse draw, have you looked at Florian, Voldaren Scion? He can dig down and pseudo-tutor depending on how much damage you're throwing around each combat.
I can see what you're going for with the creatures that care about Modified status, but I don't think they synergize enough, or have enough support with the rest of your deck to keep included. I personally like Breena, the Demagogue the most (I run her in my own list), but I don't think you're running enough Modified enablers to keep some of the others. That's ultimately your call depending on which ones you like most.
Underworld Sentinel also seems really slow for the payoff that it can potentially achieve.
I think if you cut any of those cards, you could likely include a bit more: token productions damage anthems, draw, and board protection. Here are some cards I've played with in my list that I like:
Signal Pest a low to the ground anthem effect that can come down on any turn and be relevant.
Boros Charm One of the modal options helps with board protection
Plumb the Forbidden is pretty great with tokens, especially if you're about to get board-wiped, or know the tokens will die in combat blocks
Tome of Legends a bit pricey, but will usually have 1-3 counters each game, and drawing investment is pretty minimal.
Soltari Champion Fairly compact anthem effect on a creature
Unquenchable Fury Can front load damage on any of your creatures and will usually return to hand for reuse.
Faith's Reward More board protection
Hopefully these additional suggestions are helpful. Would be happy to keep exchanging ideas if you would like. I have an Isshin primer write-up on my profile where I discuss some card options, in case that's of any interest to you. I've generally found that keeping Isshin's mana curve fairly low allows him to rebuild pretty quickly after waves of removal.

McToters - thanks! I have seen others lists that run Irencrag Feat and it seems to do pretty well. I've actually retired this deck in favor of Rionya, Fire Dancer etb shenanigans, but Ashling was a blast to play (no pun intended). I definitely would recommend trying her out if you are interested.

I have thinking this for a while now, is Mirror March good in a Rionya, Fire Dancer deck? My thought is I can still make copies if Rionya is gone or double up. I have 22 creatures, 15 instants and 18 sorceries. What are your experiences with Mirror March? Do you think it is worth a spot or not? I don't run anything that copy instant or sorceries since they don't count as casts. Should add one to replace that?

I would like some feedback on a spellslinger deck/extra combat deck with Rionya, Fire Dancer I want to keep the average cmc low so I can make mutiple copies with her ability. I use creatures like Combat Celebrant Port Razer Lightning Runnerand Scourge of the Throne for extra combat since most of the instant and Sorcery can't be activated before combat, to my knowledge. So if you see any area that can be improved with the deck please comment on the list. Thanks in advance.
