Rionya, Fire Dancer

Legendary Creature — Human Wizard

At the beginning of combat on your turn, create X tokens that are copies of another target creature you control, where X is one plus the number of instant and sorcery spells you've cast this turn. They gain haste. Exile them at the beginning of the next end step.

I thought of this after my post, but Rionya, Fire Dancer might be interesting in your Lil' Shit deck, you have a reasonable number of instants and sorceries, and if you can make more than 1 copy of your Commander it should be quite devastating. If not the 1 copy per turn would be pretty horrifying to anyone who's a tall chicken (player who sticks out).

Also, not sure if it will help that much with your deck, but I have a Rakdos deck that is very much in the vein of Troll deck, it's Pavel the Mighty, Hero We Deserve, a roleplay deck that I'm using for brainstorming purposes, but it's also a very effective 99 driven deck (the Commander can come out and do work, like yours, but he needs the voltron elements to take full advantage) that can win games without casting the Commander, depending on the power level naturally. It might have some tricks you could sneak into your deck. For example, a weird idea I might not want to spam your deck with is the Battery lands. These can store mana, making it easier to cast your 7 mana Commander early and repeatedly, though I'd stick with the Mercadia ones if you're in 3 colours!

TheMeadiator first off, love the name. Skol! Thank you for the suggestions Stalking Vengeance is 100% going to find a home in here and know I have a copy of Unleash Fury laying around.

DreadKhan wow I really like all of these, but Rionya, Fire Dancer Windswift Slice and Two-Handed Axe i've never seen before. The slice is fun thinking of Legolas stealing kills :D.

Have you thought about Neyith of the Dire Hunt and Rionya, Fire Dancer for this? Since you often have big creatures there is Chandra's Ignition, and Windswift Slice manages to be the world's biggest flavor fail and win at the same time, at least nobody will miss those elves when you sacrifice them! Two-Handed Axe might fit (and it's a big ax!), Inquisitor's Flail is unfortunately not an ax but is also very good if Gimli has high toughness.

I'm not sure how big your tallest creatures end up, but Monstrous Onslaught is very good with an excessively big creature.

Cool deck!

I only just realized how busted the Backup mechanic is with Rionya, Fire Dancer. Definitely will have to consider Death-Greeter's Champion and Voldaren Thrillseeker for my Rionya list...that is if she survives the strong urge I am having to swap that deck over to Urabrask.

NTakamura on Copying Legendary creature in red

I know there isn't much in red that allow to copy legendary creatures in red outside of Helm of the Host. But I have a idea and want to see if there is a way to make copies of Rionya, Fire Dancer. What other ways are there in red or any way to get around the legend rule in red.

Gidgetimer on Stacking/Resolving triggers entering combat? Brudiclad …

Once a spell or ability is on the stack you can't move it up or down and new objects always go on the top of the stack and will resolve before anything that was already on the stack. There is also the fact that Rionya, Fire Dancer's ability targets and so Massacre Wurm will need to be on the battlefield before you move to combat in order to make copies of it.

The best interaction you are going to get with this is going to be:

Return Massacre Wurm on your first main phase.

Massacre Wurm's ETB will resolve and anything that dies will be seen by 1 Massacre Wurm.

Move to combat and put both beginning of combat triggers on the stack. Bruniclad first and Rionya on top of it targeting Massacre Wurm.

Rionya's ability resolves making 2 Massacre Wurms. The Massacre Wurm ETBs go on the stack.

First token Massacre Wurm ETB resolves and anything that dies will be seen by 3 Massacre Wurm.

Second token Massacre Wurm ETB resolves and anything that dies will be seen by 3 Massacre Wurm.

Bruniclad trigger resolves creating the 2/1 and allowing you to make it into a Massacre Wurm token.

Anything that dies in combat will have 4 Massacre Wurm see it.

Pedrodamus on Stacking/Resolving triggers entering combat? Brudiclad …

Scenario is this: Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Rionya, Fire Dancer are on the battefiled with Massacre Wurm in the bin. I enter combat and respond by casting Corpse Dance targeting Masscare Wurm. When Massacre Wurm enters and the -2/-2 etb goes on the stack am I able to respond to that by allowing the combat triggers to resolve prior to the -2/-2 etb so that the Rionya triggers and makes 2 copies of Massacre Wurm, putting 2x -2/-2 etbs on the stack, and then resolve Brudiclad's trigger to create a 2/1 Myr and have all my tokens become copies of Massacre Wurm and finally allow all the -2/-2 triggers resolve so that when something on my opponents board dies 4x Massacre Wurms see it for a total of 8 lost of life per creature? It's a wonky scenario and I'm not certain if I can control my creature's etb/combat triggers in this fashion. My immediate answer was "no", but just wanted to confirm.
