Hahaha raspberryfish25 now you mention it, it does sound funny :-). If answers are needed in your meta these are definitely good choices, the Golgari colors have lots of answers to play in the form of targeted and mass removal. Abrupt Decay could also be included. Eyeblight Massacre could also get rid of tokens, without harming your own board state. Lys Alana Scarblade in combination with untap abilities could also perform well to get rid of pesky creatures. You can always recur the discarded creatures with several black cards out there, though not really my style of play. Cover of Darkness is sitting in my binder, trying it out, great evasive tech. Genesis Wave , now that is a digger I do like, definitely agree with you on that one.

As for the cards you are willing to try, they are indeed very strong, but strong comes with a price tag, if budget isn't an issue definitely worth upgrading.

Chord of Calling budget one-time use Zenith, Crashing Drawbridge cheaper crossroads, although usable the next turn, but only haste on your side of the board. Fauna Shaman is already the budget version of Survival of the Fittest , but Evolutionary Leap is the cheapest closest card with more or less the same effect. Song of the Dryads combo sounds like a lot of fun indeed. With enough counters on Champion of Lambholt you can achieve the same for the price of a bag of crisps. Seeker of Skybreak is a great "untapper", maybe you like Quirion Ranger and Scryb Ranger too.

Time Spiral remastered comes with a few nice reprints like Slaughter Pact , Summoner's Pact , Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Damnation . Still on the steep side, price-wise, but way cheaper than the currently printed versions.

Well for the lands you can obviously swap out basics, etc. For the rest besides ramp, I think it's honestly a card by card thing, and you have to judge if you'd rather have one of the ones I mentioned or something in the deck, as in which would be more effective. It's your deck you know it better than me so you may not agree with some of these, but things I would cut are Wood Elves (too much mana, could be better used), Elvish Dreadlord (there are already effects like this in the deck that are cheaper and don't require a death trigger), Eyeblight Massacre (could be better used, already similar effects), Beacon of Unrest (not necessarily an effect that has to do with the deck-), Maelstrom Pulse (considering you can only have 1 copy of each card in edh I'm not sure how useful this will be), Alpha Authority (Lathril already has menace, this basically gives her hexproof for two mana not so good), Moldervine Reclamation (a lot of cards seem heavily bent on creature death triggers which may not be the easiest thing to work with, possibly slow at least, though its certainly possible the deck just needs more cards geared for it, like Ashnod's Altar , etc and less of elf tribal), Storrev, Devkarin Lich (again, unless you want to cut down on elf tribal elf graveyard effects won't be too strong I think anyway). Just some ideas, I'm not too sure.

Nice Deck,

Eyeblight Massacre maybe in the sideboard, when your opponent also play tokens?

Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen for flying creatures and lifegain.

Trtl, I haven't looked into Frontier yet, but I'm a huge fan of Elves and Shaman of the Pack, maybe I should. Nice deck I'm all for a budget brew. +1

Since this deck is budget my suggestions will also be budget. Even though you're not using a revolt theme I still suggest that you add both Narnam Renegade and Greenwheel Liberator. I would replace Thornbow Archer with Narnam and move Duress to the sideboard for Liberator. Getting turn one green for a 1 drop is much easier than getting black. You're already playing Elvish Mystic so you want green turn one.

Both Renegade and Liberator allow you to be more aggressive which is the main theme here since you're using Foul-Tongue Shriek, you want to be attacking. Just the threat of being able to activate revolt lets you get more damage in and if Elves die which they will then you can benefit from this.

Chord of Calling is very good with Elves and Shaman of the Pack. It's not a budget card, but I suggest that you replace the one Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth for one Chord. Both are comparable in price and Chord can actually be a win condition with Shaman or Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen or give you card advantage because it can also tutor for Sylvan Messenger. Urborg is fine, but Chord would have much more impact.

Eyeblight Massacre is not really a main deck card. It's a good sideboard card vs Tokens and nonElf aggro like Atarka Red, but pretty bad vs everything else. I would move it to the sideboard for 2x more lands, 1x Forest and 1x Swamp, giving you 20x lands. 18x lands is kind of low even with mana Elves.

Good luck with your deck.

Thornbow Archer is almost a 2/2 for 1 black. While costly, Eyeblight Massacre is on theme and takes care of token strategies as well as other tribals it also doesn't target so it gets around hexproof. Running something at least similar to Aerial Volley is also a good idea against flyers which the deck otherwise struggles with. Adding a sideboard for these more situational but useful cards is probably a good idea
