Oona, Queen of Mono Black

Commander / EDH UB (Dimir)

Patryn

Maybeboard

This is a multiplayer deck that focuses on controlling the board while slowly building towards large / infinite mana. It has tons of win conditions and is a lot of fun to play. This was my first commander deck and still is my favorite. I always played mono-black growing up and when we started playing EDH I knew my first deck had to continue the trend. You can easily make this a deck that tries to make infinite mana as soon as possible and then exile everyone's libraries but I and my play group don't find that style fun.

It started as Korlash, Heir to Blackblade, then Maga, Traitor to Mortals took over for a very long time. I tried Kiku, Night's Flower for a few weeks and then Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief took her place at the helm for even longer than Maga. Most recently Oona, Queen of the Fae replaced Drana and the deck changed to accommodate the new general's tokens. I feel Oona has been the most powerful commander this deck has had thus far.
