Optimized decklist of Phenax, God of Deception created for [List - Multiplayer] EDH Generals by Tier, by thegigibeast.

Ways to mill yourself out:

• basalt monlith + Mesmeric Orb
• Body Double or Dimir Doppelganger + Mirror-Mad Phantasm (in yard)

Self-mill Combos:

• After milling yourself out, flashback Dread Return on Necrotic Ooze, activate Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon's ability to give Necrotic Ooze haste (can be reactivated in response to removal), then generate infinite mana using the abilities of Pili-Pala and Palladium Myr. You now have infinite untaps of Necrotic Ooze use them to mill all your opponents out. (Requires Phenax in play, , and three other creatures. Narcomoeba and Reassembling Skeleton can help you get there.)

• Alternatively, if you don't feel like being fancy, just Dread Return Laboratory Maniac and flashback Deep Analysis.

Dooomsday stacks:

• No mana pile: Gush, Gitaxian Probe, Lion's Eye Diamond, Yawgmoth's Will, Laboratory Maniac.

• pile: Predict, Labman, Gitaxian Probe, Lion's Eye Diamond, Yawgmoth's Wil.

• pile: Thought Scour, Laboratory Maniac, Deep Analysis, Unearth, Counterspell/Whatever.

• Special Phenax pile 1: Dread Return, Necrotic Ooze, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Pili-Pala, and Palladium Myr in any order.

Mill yourself using Phenax and/or your 3 creatures and do the combo from above. Skithiryx can be replaced with Narcomoeba if you have Thousand-Year Elixir or Lightning Greaves out.
