I copied and then gutted this Equipment/Aura Tribal Deck.

The intention is a Mid Curve Mono White Equipment/Aura Tribal

Paired against Red Goblins, Green Elves, Blue Wizards, and Black Rats; all around $120.

I had set out for $100 in an effort to speed things up I added some winning synergies to the decks.

Specific Interactions for Round 1

Careful with Crawlspace, Lightmine Field, Silent Arbiter. It puts a big target on your head.

Arc 1 - Elves

Ezuri, Renegade Leader

Umbral Mantle + Any Elf that taps for or more GOES INFINITE!

Gleeful Sabotage Is another issue for our heavy hand into Artifacts and Enchantments.

It is very easy for Elves to go Wiiiiiiiiiiiide

We have a few things that can help with this and here are just a few.

Suture Priest , Archangel of Tithes , Baird, Steward of Argive , Prison Term

The Main issue is that Elves are super consistent and there isn't a clear plan for stopping them and getting through. Personally I think the best way is to counter punch their first 'burst' of mana dorks with mass removal or let Goblins worry about them a little. Take damage and save the Safe Passage, Seht's Tiger, Angelsong for when you have the board wipe in hand for your next main phase.

Arc 1 - Goblins

Krenko, Mob Boss

Umbral Mantle + Ashnod's Altar + Krenko, Mob Boss

| Thousand-Year Elixir or Magewright's Stone | + Thermopod + Krenko, Mob Boss

Goblin Trashmaster Is our Achilles Heel. Prison Term IMMEDIATELY !!!!!

Impact Tremors , Goblin Bombardment , Purphoros, God of the Forge , and even Burn at the Stake .

Suture Priest , Safe Passage , Seht's Tiger , The Wanderer , Torpor Orb , Authority of the Consuls should help here.

There are a lot of Threaten cards that can be used with all the sacrifice effects to deal with our key creatures or just to untap Krenko, Mob Boss

There are a lot of things that give all creatures Haste as well. Hammer of Purphoros , Fervor Reckless Bushwhacker , Ogre Battledriver , Goblin Warchief , Goblin Warchief Goblin Bushwhacker

Arc 1 - Wizards

Naban, Dean of Iteration

By far the most complicated deck in round 1 with many, many lines of play.

Archaeomancer + | Ghostly Flicker or Displace or Illusionist's Stratagem |

| Naban, Dean of Iteration or Panharmonicon | + Venser, Shaper Savant + Sage's Row Denizen

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal

Control

Engulf the Shore, Evacuation, Wizard's Retort, Muddle the Mixture, Hinder, Counterspell, Control Magic

Tonnes of creatures that ETB trigger or tap for mana or draw cards or make tokens. The biggest issue here is that there are many Unsummon effects like AEther Adept, Separatist Voidmage, Vedalken AEthermage, Venser, Shaper Savant and the diabolical Crystal Shard

Portcullis May lock us out of having a creature as we have fewer than all other decks and our commander cmc is so high.

Watch out for Thassa's Oracle, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Laboratory Maniac.

Yes this can self-mill win with a few key components.

Torpor Orb will be the luckiest draw you have.

Arc 1 - Rats

Ayara, First of Locthwain

By far the simplest deck in round 1.

Just in case you missed it.

Ayara, First of Locthwain or Bontu's Monument + Thrumming Stone + Relentless Rats is GG

For the most part Rats should ignore you and focus on Elves and Goblins but Dread Charge with even 6 rats is death.

Perish, Crypt Rats, Infected Vermin, Malicious Affliction and Living Death should help with keep other decks pretty narrow.

Torpor Orb and Ghostly Prison will help keep the focus on combat and other players.

There is a lot to unpack here but I hope this gives some insights. If you do pick Baird, Steward of Argive for round 1 you will be prepared.
