Experimenting with an attempt at a cedh viable Zur list, using Zur the Enchanter's ability to tutor Necropotence, powerful stax pieces and draw engines like Arcane Laboratory and Rhystic Study, but focusing on the 3CMC or less reanimation spells Necromancy, Dance of the Dead and Animate Dead to get either Vilis, Broker of Blood or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite on board.

When a draw engine or soft lock has been established, we win with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact into Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.

The list runs a few suboptimal cards like Spellbook in lieu of the more expensive 0 cost rocks, in order for us to keep our hand well stocked at all times and allow us to ensure our threats stay alive.

Vilis, Broker of Blood is the first target, and all the incidental life loss in the deck allows us to draw a ton of cards, and notably he synergises with Necropotence to essentially draw 2 cards for each point of life lost.

One downside is that one of the strongest hate pieces available to Zur, Rest in Peace is off limits, as is Grafdigger's Cage. But, we can win through these as our actual wincon is the consultation plan.

You can also Isochron Scepter into Dramatic Reversal for infinite mana, and put that into Blind Obedience extort activations, which is tutorable with Zur.
