If The Locust God is in play, Ashnod's Altar acts as a more versatile pseudo-Fluctuator. Add in Skullclamp for a ridiculous draw engine to Laboratory Maniac win.

Opponents leaving The Locust God in play can allow you draw 40 out of nowhere and Favorable Winds win. Luckily we can stay in theme and use cycling cards to protect our commander like Mage's Guile/Countervailing Winds.

Alternative plans are to find pieces like Drake Haven, Decree of Annihilation, or Decree of Silence.
