Comet Storm and Mizzium Mortars might be budget upgrades.

Taurean Mauler too.

Chandra's Ignition would be really good. Not budget though.

Hello, fellow giants player. Your deck looks pretty awesome. Might I suggest Cryptic Gateway as an additional way to cheat out giants?

I always felt Cryptic Gateway wasn't very good in "expensive-creature decks". The likelihood of having two big guys already out but not having swung with them or something always seemed low. Cryptic Gateway is better in small creature decks IMO.

Optimator good call. With 5 cmc, I wpuld rather cast another giant or find/use more card draw instead of tapping my fine bearded friends down.

Optimator: Both of which need tapping and cost 8 mana total to drop something. Gateway doesn't need to be tapped itself and costs 5 mana once. Your point regarding fatty deck stands perfectly, but then again, the giants in here start at MV3. I wouldn't exactly call this a fatty deck. And the presence of Portal and Amulet actually makes Gateway even better.
