Ah, Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, my beloved. Such a cool dino, almost all of the keywords I would ever want on a commander! Surely there must be some info to help build a deck around her properly, right? Nope! Search results for within the last year or two, only a couple of threads spamming the same 1-800 get flappin meme. Lovely.

Any other results are seven years old, and they don't even cover her as a commander! I only see discussions for re-animator abuse, getting cheated into the battlefield with Gishath, and finally used as a mere steed for Odric, Lunarch Marshal. This is an injustice!

So enjoy my mono white voltron deck with ol zetty at the helm. Hopefully, I have been able to give this commander the justice it deserves. Though arrogant to assume, I wonder if I have the strongest zetty to ever flap?

Game plan:

The goal of this deck is to kill my targeted opponent in one or two hits with my commander. I love being able to slap on an Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or a Blackblade Reforged and watch my opponents explode in one hit!

But how do we get there? 8 cmc is a rather brutal barrier to cross, especially in mono white. That is why we need to ramp, ramp, and ramp! I have included plenty sources of mana acceleration, and land fetching.

I focused on maintaining a decent spread of ramp, leading up to a few explosive high cmc artifacts that can double my mana. I can consistently get zetty onto the field turn 6. The earliest she can hit the field is turn 4, and the latest is turn 8.
