enpc please don't give up. i really do need the help
your advise is solid and do appreciate it. fetch's would work with almost any other deck. its just these colors options are limited with Tithe by itself i run out of targets and the one fetch i am running becomes a fetch basic with out slowfield stinkhole.
i've spent since February obsessively tuning this deck to consist run a 4 card combo with in 8 turns, while being resistant enough to play through what ever is thrown at it to stop it, and at the same time still being able to stop others. now im trying to do it in 6 turns. if it is possible, the answer is not going to be easy

firja, is a tempo for me to. if i ramp up and blow out my hand i shut down my biggest card vantage. so it is limited to two cards per turn. in an ideal situation ill play two sorcery speeds on my turn and then two instant speeds on opponents turns. the deck is playable with 2 mana, accelerates with 4 mana, and peaks at 6 mana.
cantrips really are the key to success, i have to cast 2 to draw 1. this math fails and already leaves you with no cards in hand. thats why weird cards like Defiant Strike , Purify the Grave , Cremate perform amazing in this deck even though the abilities them self's are week

Reforge the Soul seems random. As do Prismatic Strands and Purify the Grave . If you're worried about Graveyard shenanigans just play Relic of Progenitus or Crook of Condemnation

I'd probably play Song of the Dryads over Darksteel Mutation

Might also consider some landwalk in lieu of relying on Shadow/Hormanship so much. Trailblazer's Boots for example.

I'd also probably play with Swiftfoot Boots over Lightning Greaves , so you can still target/equip stuff to it.

"When you sac Mirror of Fate , which is part of the activation cost, it goes to the grave. You can then hold up priority and use Faerie Macabre , discard her (which is also a cost) to remove her and the Mirror from the grave and put the Mirror and faerie on top of your new library."

The following interaction you just described is illegal according to rule 601.2. Whenever you cast a spell or activate an ability if that spell or ability would target an object, the object(s) you intend to target must be a legal target before costs are paid. This is because all spells and abilities and their corresponding targets are always announced before costs are calculated and paid for.

Given the scenario you just described you would be able to exile the mirror with Faerie Macabre 's activated ability, however; you would be unable to exile the Faerie Macabre to itself. Do note this only happens if a spell or ability targets. The exiled cards you choose to put on top of your library with Mirror of Fate don't have to be legal choices before it's ability is activated - they just have to be legal upon the moment it resolves which means you can put the Mirror in your new library if you are able to exile it before it's ability resolves. If Faerie Macabre instead read as: "Discard Faerie Macabre: Choose up to two cards in graveyards. Exile those cards." then the scenario you listed would be able to work as you described.

That said, there are still ways to cycle Mirror of Fate without the Faerie Macabre . These cards with the Mirror will still generate the same effect: Tormod's Crypt , Nihil Spellbomb , Sentinel Totem , Purify the Grave , Remorseful Cleric . If you want a repeatable exile effect that doesn't need to be exiled to work I'd recommend cards like: Withered Wretch , Grim Lavamancer , Sarcatog , Scrabbling Claws , Relic of Progenitus - These cards can stay on the battlefield while reliably being able to exile your Mirror at instant speed.

I thought this interaction was really cool, which is why I went out of my way to find alternative card options in case I ever decide to run something like this in my own deck. +1 for the potential card synergy and creativity.

Hey! I'm really happy to see someone else brewing with the new(er) Sigarda! Personally, I think it might help to add a few cards with the Explore mechanic from Ixalan, namely Path of Discovery , which can let the tokens Sigarda makes refuel your grave, smooth your draws, and give you a little more power. I'd also try to find a space for Ray of Revelation and Purify the Grave , which are useful even if you mill them, but can also be exiled by Sigarda if you don't need them. Eternal Scourge would be a cool addition, since you can play it, chump, exile to Sigarda, and then recast it from exile. Other in-block support could be Crawling Sensation , which gives you the option to mill each of your upkeeps. This card would also work great with fetches, which are also extra fuel for your general! If you're considering Regrowth , I'd also recommend Grapple with the Past . It's a bit more restricted, but it fuels Sigarda and it's an instant. Happy brewing!

nooodle_ on Elenda, Mistress of Death

@ triproberts12 Thanks for the detailed reply!

I had looked at Athreos, God of Passage and Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter as possible commanders for the deck but no one really seemed to be doing Elenda so I thought I'd give it a whirl.

I did not know that your commander had to go to the yard to count as dying, which definitely changes things a little. Skeletal Scrying, Cremate, Purify the Grave, Bloodline Necromancer, Unburial Rites, Faith's Reward, Hell's Caretaker, Second Sunrise all seem like very nice options for getting around that.

Dimir House Guard seems really good, especially since it doubles as a tutor for Phyrexian Altar. Pawn of Ulamog also seems like a very strong combo of token gen and ramp. In future I may go more heavily down the sacrifice route, but at the moment I still want to keep the Malakir Bloodwitch / Bishop of the Bloodstained ETB wincon, it feels a little more unique than the usual Blood Artist + Phyrexian Altar / Ashnod's Altar + tokens. Picking up a Vanquisher's Banner to buff the tribe a little and get some draw seems nice too.

What cards do you think should just be cut altogether? Providing I'm keeping to the idea of winning by sac, etb, or just having a strong board. Thanks very much for the suggestions you already gave, much appreciated.

Props for not going easy mode with Edgar Markov.

As for suggestions, the best thing I think you could do to improve this deck is to make it more explosive. The way to do that would be to add free sacrifice outlets, along with creatures that provide you multiple bodies.

For bodies, I would add Hallowed Spiritkeeper, Lightning Coils, Belfry Spirit, Promise of Bunrei, Teysa, Orzhov Scion, Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Sorin, Solemn Visitor, and Pawn of Ulamog.

For sac outlets, Viscera Seer, Indulgent Aristocrat, Bloodthrone Vampire, Bloodflow Connoisseur, Cartel Aristocrat, Blood Bairn, Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter, Vampire Aristocrat, and Yahenni, Undying Partisan are good vampire options. Sadistic Hypnotist, Dimir House Guard, Spawning Pit, Hidden Stockpile, Mind Slash are also good. What's important is that you can go off all at once. You want to sac a bunch of creatures to grow Elenda and sac her the same turn.

The other challenge you'll want to keep in mind is that Elenda, the Dusk Rose must go to your graveyard to get the trigger. That means If you want to recast her, you'll have to reanimate her or exile her from your graveyard. Bojuka Bog, Relic of Progenitus, Angel of Finality, God-Pharaoh's Gift (and Gate to the Afterlife!), Skeletal Scrying, Rescue from the Underworld, Necromancer's Covenant, Cremate, Seance, Planar Void, Goryo's Vengeance, Postmortem Lunge, Purgatory. Despoiler of Souls, Mistmoon Griffin, Purify the Grave, Offalsnout, Coffin Purge, Drudge Spell, Cryptwailing, Treacherous Vampire, and Consecrate / Consume, Angelic Renewal, Karmic Guide, Reveillark (the prior two being an infinite loop combo), Dread Return, Nim Deathmantle (there are combos with it and Ashnod's Altar, which you also want), Palace Siege, Bloodline Necromancer, Profane Command, Unburial Rites, Faith's Reward, Ever After, Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants, Hell's Caretaker. Apprentice Necromancer, Wake the Dead, Second Sunrise, Infernal Offering, Corpse Dance, Zombify, Resurrection, No Rest for the Wicked, and Footsteps of the Goryo, are all good options.

The final piece of the puzzle is making your sacrifices devastating. Dictate of Erebos, Butcher of Malakir, Grave Pact, Black Market, Harvester of Souls, Midnight Reaper, Grim Haruspex, Zulaport Cutthroat, Open the Graves, Blade of the Bloodchief, Ogre Slumlord, Athreos, God of Passage, and Dark Prophecy will help with that.

Teysa Karlov could also be very good in this deck with all the death triggers. Nothing wrong with good old value creatures like Solemn Simulacrum, either.

You could also use a few tribal things like Kindred Dominance, Konda's Banner, Cover of Darkness, Vampire Nocturnus, Vanquisher's Banner, Path of Ancestry, and Metallic Mimic.
