Epicurus on Card creation challenge

A15Life there are a lot of werewolf creatures with transform. In fact, the transform mechanic was created around werewolves. There's a shit-ton of werewolves with the transform mechanic:

And all of this is without mentioning all of the non-werewolf HUMAN creatures with the transform mechanic, and the card I created makes all humans werewolves too. So yeah, there's a bit of use for Autumn Moon's ability to make a werewolf transform.

Sorry. Continue.

Werewolves have always been a favorite horror monster of mine, so I've tinkered with the tribe in EDH and a wolf enthusiast friend of mine actually made a deck for them. As such I've got a few suggestions, but take it with a grain of salt since our meta has an unusually high power level from what I've seen.

Given the description, I'm guessing the following are in to fill out the curve with early drops, but you may want to consider ditching Gatstaf Shepherd, Hanweir Watchkeep, Hinterland Logger, Lambholt Pacifist, Reckless Waif, Village Messenger, and Villagers of Estwald for later value cards or to free up room for some of my suggestions below. Similarly, I'd consider dropping Mass Hysteria as it seems dangerous, though with it's low mana cost I imagine you only cast it the turn you're going to win or as prep the one before that, and Fervor since you have access to better haste bestowers like Fires of Yavimaya , Rhythm of the Wild , Flamekin Village and/or other effects like Dolmen Gate , Angel's Trumpet , Sight of the Scalelords , and Steely Resolve .

As for what to put in, I think running both Radhas would make sense. Grand Warlord Radha allows you to aggress and progress in one fell swoop. In your present case that'd likely mean setting up so you have blockers for the possible crack back, though you could certainly add flash creatures to make the most of that mana during combat. As for the more on theme things there's stuff like Cult of the Waxing Moon , Spirit of the Hunt , Vildin-Pack Outcast  Flip, Howlpack Resurgence , Silverfur Partisan , and Hinterland Hermit  Flip to force blocking and potentially free up other shenanigans. There's also the {insert tribe here} supports like Adaptive Automaton , Brass Herald , and Metallic Mimic . Lastly I'd think about protection like Heroic Intervention and Soul of New Phyrexia since the board is key for decks like this and wipes are something any EDH deck worth its salt has at least a few of.

Darkshadow327 on LGS has Japanese Dark Ascension …

So I was able to visit my LGS earlier this evening and get 2 packs, this is what I got (you would be interested in this DiverDown):

Overall opening this pack was pretty cool. It was suspenseful too since I didn't know what most of the cards were (I did recognize a few by art).

Giant Growth > Titanic Growth. The extra +1/+1 isn't worth DOUBLE the mana, imo. For such a low curve (which definitely needs work) you should consider less land. Also, with only Hinterland Hermit  Flip and Lightning Bolt as your Red cards you'd be better off mono-Green. Consider more Red with Vildin-Pack Outcast or consider mono-Green.

I'm sorry if this is going to look like a big dump of links but thee's some cards I would like to suggest:

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/lambholt-pacifist/ <- Replacing Hinterland Hermit  Flip. It can effectively block and kill Sylvan Advocate and many other early game threats and doesn't need much to flip or be able to attack.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/vessel-of-volatility/ <- Replacing Deathcap Cultivator. This allows you to do some sudden burst plays, dropping zada and then buffing your entire team for lethals out of nowhere.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/breakneck-rider-neck-breaker/ <- his flip passive buff affects all your creatures and is a great source of trample when you do your buff combo. He's also a solid creature on his own for 3. Replacing Zurgo.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/rush-of-adrenaline/ <- Replacing Titan's Strength or Vines of the Recluse. It depends on what you value more. Reach or Scry. I would suggest replacing vines and then putting them in the SB instead in case you go against a deck that favors lots of flying creatures IE: R/B Vampires, R/B Dragons, etc.. The source of trample here is just so good.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/tormenting-voice-3/ <- Card draw could be very useful to you considering you would drop your hand relatively quickly. Not required but useful if anything.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/moonlight-hunt/ <- Replacing Rabid Bite in the SB. It's more useful imo to be able to take out a big threat than depending on having Zada out for a possible wannabe board wipe.

http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/duskwatch-recruiter-krallenhorde-howler/ <- Way to find Zada. Get flips on your creatures while still doing things. Not sure where to fit this one. It also reduces the cost of all creature spells your play, including zada. Your combo is now possibly faster or more consistent.

Use some or none :)

More Innistrad block tonight! We cracked a Dark Ascension pack, and as expected, the forces of good were on the receiving end of some serious beatdown.

We liked our forest bear Somberwald Dryad and our were-hermit Hinterland Hermit  Flip. We really liked the flavor of the Fateful Hour "last stand" mechanic in Gather the Townsfolk vs. our Zombie Lord Diregraf Captain.

But we absolutely windmill slammed our Mythic:

So this has been a pretty amazing run: 3 packs, 3 days, 3 Mythics. Wow.
Which makes us want to do a shout out to +EV Games and Alter Reality Games. When we started this calendar, we knew buying individual packs was kind of risky, as there's a huge incentive for sellers to reseal packs, or pack map, or whatever. But there are at least two sellers that will clearly not hesitate to send us Mythic packs! Very cool.
