This is my current Animar combo deck. It's still a work in progress. I need to fix the mana-base more, and eventually get Imperial Recruiter.

Birds of Paradise, Llanowar Elves, and Wild Cantor help me try to get Animar out on turn 2.

Wirewood Symbiote is a really fun card for me. Some of my favorite targets in this deck are Wood Elves, Reclamation Sage, Bloodbraid Elf, and Fierce Empath. Then untapping a Fauna Shaman, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, or a mana dork is very nice.

Combos

Ancestral Statue + Purphoros, God of the Forge/Primordial Sage/Soul of the Harvest when Animar is at 4 or more counters. Repeatedly playing Ancestral Statue and bouncing it to my hand will deal infinite damage when I have Purphoros out, or let me draw into Purphoros with Primordial Sage or Soul of the Harvest.

Deadeye Navigator + Peregrine Drake/Cloud of Faeries* you must have a karoo land or Temple of the False God out for Cloud of Faeries to provide infite mana. However, add a Purphoros, God of the Forge and you won't need it.

Mercurial Pretender + Peregrine Drake This infinite mana combo also requires a karoo land

Temur Sabertooth + Peregrine Drake

Cloudstone Curio + any combination of two Pestermite, Deceiver Exarch, and Zealous Conscripts will give you infinite bounce. If instead of one of the permanent untappers, you threw in either a Cloud of Faeries or a Peregrine Drake, you could get infinite mana.

Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker/Splinter Twin + Zealous Conscripts/Deceiver Exarch/Pestermite Tap Kiki to put a copy of one of the untappers into play. Untap Kiki. Rinse. Repeat. Then swing with your infinite hasty tokens
