Cumly Cube
Introducing Cumly Cube 1.4! Two months ago, Cumly Cube was updated to Cumly Cube 1.3, which was touted as balanced and without any notable flaws. There is no more insidious poison than hubris! Many cards remained that were too strong, or close to unplayable. Many archetypes existed in the cube but had too little support to ever be worth drafting. Many cards failed to fit the ethos of Cumly Cube. With 89 more cuts and adds, I am now pleased to announce that, this time, Cumly Cube has reached a final form! Perhaps a few cards are still too strong, too weak, or out of place, but the vast majority of the draft pool is now in an acceptable state. Any further changes to Cumly Cube 1 will exist as minor updates, swapping out only a few cards at a time. This means that there will never be a Cumly Cube 1.5, only 1.4.1, 1.4.2, etc.
Here are the changes, provided with brief justifications:

Diabolical Machinations

I have replaced Recoil with Maestros Charm, because, while Recoil is an excellent card in its own right, it is rather lackluster in EDH, whereas the charm provides me with greater flexibility; I could have replaced Grixis Charm with the newer charm, since the charm is easily the weakest of its cycle, but I shall keep it, as it fits the theme of this deck, from a flavor perspective.
DemonDragonJ on Should I Put Maestros’ Charm …
7 months ago
I am contemplating putting Maestros Charm into my Thraximundar EDH deck, but I am not certain about doing that, because, while the second and third modes of the charm are excellent, I am not certain if that deck has a sufficient prevalence of graveyard recursion to justify including that card in it; I suppose that I could simply use the second and third modes most frequently, and use the first mode only if I desperately needed to use it.
Similarly, I am contemplating putting Obscura Charm into my Sen Triplets EDH deck, and, as with the previous charm, the second and third modes are excellent, but I am not certain if that deck contains a sufficient number of multicolored permanents that have mana value 3 or less to justify including that card in that deck, but, again, I can use it primarily for the second and third modes, and use the first mode only when I truly need to use it.
What does everyone else say, about this? Should I put Maestros Charm and Obscura Charm into those two decks? I certainly am interested to receive your feedback, on this matter.

cool deck!
any thoughts about Crosis's Charm or maybe Maestros Charm?
also, some cool enchantments allow your commander to die and return - dodge removal and generate value from her deat trigger, it's a win win! these cards are like Kaya's Ghostform, Minion's Return, Shade's Form, Unholy Indenture.
and where is your Sol Ring?
just some thoughts, cheers and have fun!!

Candlekeep Sage could easily be as good or better than a Rhystic Study here.
Maestros Charm is just a solid charm.

Dragon Control

Pioneer's not a strong suit of mine yet, but I'll try to help.
I wouldn't go more than two copies of Iymrith. Maybe 2 each Iymrith and Kolaghan, 1 Lathliss for the legendary dragons.
Cut some of the 3-mana stuff and reduce overall costs. Stuff like Foul-Tongue Invocation and Spit Flame are thematic and reasonably useful, but you don't want to spend the first two turns sitting around waiting. Just pitching ideas here without analysis, but cards like Opt, Strangle, and Negate will keep you active.
Maybe 25-26 lands, 6-8 counterspells, 8-10 Dragons, 10-12 removal, and 10-12 draw would work. If you can find cards that double up or overlap these categories, like Kolaghan's Command or Maestros Charm, even better.

Manipulating the Census
Sorcery
Will of the Council - Starting with you, each player chooses birth or burial. For each player that chose birth, you create a white 1/1 Citizen token and gain 5 life. For each player that chose burial, that player sacrifices a creature and you may exile up to 5 cards from a single graveyard.
"The general populace will clearly not support us. I think it's time to groom a new populace, don't you think?"
New challenge! See card below.
Bully Charm
Instant
Choose one:
-
Target creature must block this turn if able.
-
Create a green 2/2 Raccoon creature token.
-
Destroy target artifact.
So, the new challenge is as follows. I was really inspired by the War of the Spark's bond series of cards (Bond of Discipline, Bond of Passion, etc.). It takes the flavor of two factions and joins them together into one card. What I want to do with the green card I created above is create a line of 4 more modal charms that combine three Families from New Capenna--precisely those families who share the color in which the mono-colored charm is made. So, if you look closely, the Bully Charm is mono-green and each of its three modes reflects each of the three Families that have green in them: the first mode represents Brokers' sentiments, the second mode represents the Cabaretti, and the third mode is very Riveteers.
So, create another mono-colored, three-mode charm where each mode represents one of the families who have that color in them. Note: the card should generally be weaker than the new charms (Obscura Charm, Maestros Charm, etc.) because the casting cost of these mono-color charms are much less restrictive--so don't make them too strong. We're going for flavor here, over competition.
