Playing some flicker cards like Ghostly Flicker or Siren's Ruse would be great ways to reset or save from spot removal.

I've tested the deck quite a bunch and trying to tweek it a little right now.4 Panharmonicon are too many in my opinion. I never wanted to draw one past the first. Though I mostly played against Tempo.

Maybe some flicker effects would do well in the main board. Will cut two Panharmonicon for 2 Siren's Ruse and let you know how it performs

Oh yeah! The card I was thinking of for flickering was Siren's Ruse. I think it fits well in a deck with so many powerful ETB abilities.

I have some questions about Elite Arcanist and duping spells right now, but there is an insane amount of spell duping available in standard right now. It's just about finding the right mana cheats and frankly card draw and tempo stalls. I don't think it really falls on a single Burn spell so much in this case after reviewing the new stuff. It definitely can, but it is also so much easier just to blend the many spell multipliers and just go with a few cheap burns and looped combos cast in a single turn.

Torrential Gearhulk + Release to the Wind + Saheeli Rai + Saheeli's Artistry + Siren's Ruse + Flood of Recollection + Karn's Temporal Sundering + Insult / Injury + Swarm Intelligence + The Mirari Conjecture + Tilonalli's Skinshifter, etc., etc., etc....

And that's just with Izzet. Too many artifact creature/spell based duping to list. That's a lot of duping at once. I'll probably be experimenting with Living Lore + Torrential Gearhulk combos quite a bit if I ever get away from Elite Arcanist + Naban, Dean of Iteration. Fun stuff man! I can barely keep from rejoining Standard, lol.

Though there's a whole lot of Exile This Card from the Temporal and Mana Cheating cards. Guess the devs got smarter. :p

Anyways, as for this deck.

Saheeli Rai - No mana duping of creatures.

Torrential Gearhulk - Can be duped by Saheeli for free when your mana is all untapped to trigger a Release to the Wind, Cooperate, through hulk or cast an Insult on its own.

Release to the Wind can also reset your planeswalkers' loyalty counts.

Super cool deck! It feels like it needs 2 more lands.

For one less mana you have Siren's Ruse for infinite etb but no cast triggers. Then you just need Arcane Adaptation to get to draw your entire deck haha. Jk thats a much worse combo

Naru Meha + Sirens ruse + naban + etb creature = infinite etbs

Naru Meha + Sirens ruse + naban + Wizard's Lightning = infinite damage

Naru Meha + Saheeli's Artistry = infinite copies of any creature

Naru Meha + Illusionist's Stratagem + sailor of means = win

Naru Meha + Illusionist's strategem = infinite draw

Naru Meha + Illusionist's stratagem + etb creature = infinite etb and draw

Naru Meha + Illusionist stratagem + naban + wizard's lightning = infinite damage

Naru Meha + Release to the Wind + naban + etb creature = infinite etbs

Naru Meha + Release to the wind + naban + wizards lightning = infinite damage

Naru Meha + Release to the wind + Diligent Excavator = infinite mill

Naru Meha + Baral's Expertise = River's Rebuke

Naru Meha + Barals expertise + dilligent excavator = infinite mill

Naru Meha + Barals expertise + naban + etb creature= infinite etbs

Unsummon is strictly better than Siren's Ruse, I would recommend making that switch. As to your concerns for Secrets of the Golden City, I would say that it is good card draw even without the city's blessing. I would recommend Opt to replace it, if you want, but frankly I think it's a good enough card.

I think the creatures are pretty good, and wouldn't make (m)any changes there.

Saheeli Rai is a good planeswalker.

Well, yes, but it does enable a myriad of instant speed combos.

Naru Meha, Master Wizard + Release to the Wind + Bontu's Monument drains for infinite. With diligent excavator (whenever you cast a historic spell, it mills 2 cards) it mills for infinite.
Naru Meha, Master Wizard + Siren's Ruse + Bontu's Monument does the same for one mana less.
The jankiest I could think of - Naban, Dean of Iteration + Siren's Ruse + Karn's Temporal Sundering + Naru Meha, Master Wizard - infinite turns.

And these just a few of the monoblue ones in standard I thought of. There are a lot more.
