This is my EDH Zedruu deck that focuses on appearing harmless or even helpful while building to a late game where it crushes other decks.
It's not meant to be played in Duel format, but it uses both the multiplayer banlist and the French banlist.
Budget isn't a problem on this deck, since I only play it on an online simulator.
As such, this deck runs no basic lands, so cards like Solemn Simulacrum that I would normally put in just about every deck are out of the question.
I feel confident that most of the deck is strong, but certain cards could certainly be replaced for better ones (ex. Mirror-Sigil Sergeant, Anvil of Bogardan in some situations)
If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them.

Synergies:
- Wild Research tutors pretty much half the deck multiple times, and the random discard is pretty much negligible with Zedruu's draw rate
- Sunforger tutors Render Silent and Counterflux as well as spells like Oblation and Chaos Warp
- Venser, the Sojourner lets you regain control of donated permanents and flickers cards like Oblivion Ring
- Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Kher Keep provide cheap tokens to donate to other players for free cards and life
- Cards that don't care who controls them such as Oblivion Ring can be donated for free cards and life
- Cards like Shifting Borders provide free cards and life from Zedruu's ability
- Solitary Confinement can be played practically without downside if you take into account the draw per turn from Zedruu's ability

Sideboard Guidelines:
- Arcane Laboratory and Rule of Law against Combo Decks
- Rest in Peace and Final Judgement against Graveyard Recursion Decks
- Pyrohemia and Lightmine Field Aggro Decks and Token Decks
- Nevermore and Celestial Dawn against Decks that ruin the game and shouldn't exist (Ex. Zur the Enchanter)
- Aggressive Mining against Hyper-Ramp Decks
- Stony Silence against Decks with way too much artifact ramp
- Thought Lash against Stall Decks
- Mikokoro, Center of the Sea against players who don't kill Group Hug Decks
- Torpor Orb against EtB Effect Decks
- Stranglehold against Control Decks
- Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre against Mill Decks
