Exchange control of target land you control and target land an opponent controls. (This effect doesn't end at end of turn.)
Political Trickery Discussion

maybe try Brand ? so you can basically steal their lands? you could put it on a Isochron Scepter and also use cards like Political Trickery and Shifting Borders . then you could use some mana rocks like Izzet Signet and Thought Vessel (and maybe Humble Defector aswell for card draw) then you could win with some kind of big spell or something I know this is not modern legal, but it would make a fun casual deck!

So, I've been tinkering with the Aminatou commander deck for a few months and ive got it pretty close to where I want it. One major downside to esper is the lack of non artifact, land based ramping (a la Cultivate or Rampant Growth etc.) I have Solemn Simulacrum and Druidic Satchel but I had an idea for Aminatou to use the cards Political Trickery and Vedalken Plotter in combination with Aminatou's -1 and other flickerers in tandem to have them work as land ramp via theft of opponents. Is this something worth trying or too gimmicky for viability

Hey Bro I already upvoted your deck few months before, and I still love the fact, how much passion you put into that. I am not an EDH player but the flavor is awsome! In my point of view I would replace Recurring Insight with Mission Briefing. And what about Prosperity? In my point of view, Sorrow's Path would be great here in combination with Political Trickery. I mean Sorrow would definitely support your theme and is a very very punch in your face-card that creates a wtf-moment for your opponent. And it goes well with Opposition that you already use. Just wanted to inform you about this possibility. :D

I didn't know Mana Maze existed, I'll look into that one.
I didn't run Island Sanctuary for a while because of my brothers Talrand deck. It's been dismantled and turned into a Memnarch / Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur deck. (One that I AM having trouble with). I'll see If I can pickup a copy of it.
Once I started building this deck, my local playgroup started to run more artifact/ enchantment removal. So I usually grab things like Grasp of Fate , Detention Sphere , etc with it. But also since this deck used to be built heavily around Sunforger it can grab that, plus some of the mana rocks I'm running as well.
Truthfully, I might replace him at some point, but until then I'll keep him around.

Possibility Storm is my single favorite card in magic. It spices up the game and very few people dislike the card. I've built the deck so when I get possibility storm there are many viable options I can possibility storm into.
Form of the Dragon is a fun card, I see it used a lot. I see it used more so as a win-con than a donate tool though, oddly enough. I don't use it because I don't like it as much as the cards I currently have and I believe Commander should be ones favorite cards.
Bazaar Trader is a card that is ALWAYS recommended to me and Zedruu players a like and the only reason I don't play it is because Bazaar Trader can't donate enchantments. Yeah, giving away lands is always an option but I have Political Trickery and Vedalken Plotter for that. I don't want to give away any of my creatures too. If I do I use Assault Suit.

Sea's Claim is good, Aquitect's Will is really hard to work around, and supports wizards if you have them, Scourge of Fleets is pretty sweet if you want to cause problems, Political Trickery can basically make a land an Island, and help with that upstart Sanders candidate. Otherwise nice deck, consider diversifying into some control elements to slow things down for yourself

Political Trickery, Lifeline, and Jinxed Choker all seem the weakest but this deck has all kinds of weird synergistic things going on that I can't even begin to understand so excuse me for naming some of the "weakest" cards that may not be weak at all.
No data for this card yet.
