After years of creature-centric decks, I decided to do something differently. Initially, I tried a Izzet-draw deck around The Locust God, but it was still too creature-centric for my taste. That's when I found Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Enter the forcefeed.

Plan: A dozen cards make everyone either draw extra cards, or discard and re-draw their entire hands. Add in the 10 extra cards for personal carddrawing, and you should be digging through this deck at lightning speed. Another dozen cards turn all that carddrawing (either yours or the opponent's) into damage, and another 6 take advantage of the many cards your opponents will be discarding. The whole thing is rounded out with some mana rocks, control and utility.

I'm a little worried about defending against attacks, as Meekstone, Deadly Tempest and hopefully a future addition of Propaganda are the only decent defenses right now. Should I include more counter, destruction or wipes? The 'GottaGet' section in my Maybeboard tries to deal with these issues, although most of those cards are pretty expensive and hard to come by in my community. Another risk is decking myself, although Laboratory Maniac and a future Jace, Wielder of Mysteries might help with that.
