In the end, all that was needed to bring the Ravnica guilds together was a giant Dragon-god threatening to take over the universe and start a super-powered planeswalker fight in the city.

I love Ravnica. Been my favourite plane since I discovered it and has never disappointed. When the new Niv-Mizzet was announced for War of the Spark there was finally a flavourful 5-color general around whom to build an EDH deck. This deck is basically a huge shoutout to all the Ravnica blocks trying to build a semi-functional deck out of the bits and pieces that leaves me with.

Suggestions are welcome, but do keep in mind that I intend to make the whole deck out of cards from one of the three Ravnica blocks (i.e. The Ravnica, city of guilds, Return to Ravnica and Guilds of Ravnica blocks). I want to base the deck around the guilds as they were before Bolas started interfering, so none of the Guilds of Ravnica planeswalkers are included (I might consider Ral and Vraska as they were in earlier Ravnica blocks, and not 100% on Bolas's side). Because of this, I probably also won't be running many of the War of the Spark cards, as they also don't carry through the meaning of Ravnica as well as the older sets.
