Rakdos, the Showstopper Discussion

Sorry, a bad typo above. I mention only having one other demon in the first paragraph. It is based on my comment in the second paragraph on Rakdos, the Showstopper and should have been placed there.

I see the control, but don't see much of the aggro. I don't necessarily see this being a win by turns 6-8. That is generally where I draw the line for aggro, but don't mistake me as the authority on that. Your deck average CMC is good for this, 3 or under in my opinion. Dreadhorde Butcher is a great early game play. I'd have 4 in this deck. Sprite Dragon is a good card, but not for this deck. You have at best, 6 chances for an island, given you are not short another color and that makes Sprite Dragon difficult to play early like you would want. Having either Nicol Bolas, the Arisen or Nicol Bolas, the Ravager Flip for the late game is doable, but if you take out those 2 and the 2 faerie dragons, I think you can find better fits. For my agro decks, I assume if I can't win early, I likely will not win at all. So I have no back up. This lets me focus on putting in more aggressive creatures for the early game. You have only one other demon.
Also note that Avatar of Woe and Bone Dragon really work against each other. Maybe focus on one of them. For instance, you have cards for exiling creatures (not good for the avatar). So maybe Bone Dragon is the choice here. You would likely want to not have cards that pull spells from your graveyard as well. Such as Unbreakable Bond if you want to keep getting the dragon back out. Also note that Rakdos, the Showstopper could really hurt you in this scenario even more than your opponent. Not sure that card fits here.
I would suggest looking into cards with menace. They are usually cheap and are very aggressive, given they are hard to block. Stormfist Crusader is a good one that can work with control as well. To keep the control aspect, put in cards such as Heartless Act and Terminate. This keep the opponent creature count low and the game in your hands. Act of Treason is a good one to keep in for control.
Sorry if I went too deep here. You can ignore me and it won't hurt my feelings. I'm just snooping around getting ideas of my own as well and waiting for criticism to come back to me from time to time.

For each permanent, flip a coin. If you win, its controller sacrifices it.
I've long wanted a random wipe. Extinction Event is very cool and I love it, but Boompile and morseo Puppet's Verdict are the closest examples. Based off of Rakdos, the Showstopper, commander of my Rakdos Cannibals deck
I'd like a common equipment with either a parasitic mechanic or set specific keyword.

Dark Ritual is the perfect tool for casting your demons earlier; I'd recommend fitting 3 or 4 in the deck. Heartless Summoning is something to consider as well. Ob Nixilis, Unshackled isn't very useful in this deck unless you run something that forces the opponent to search their library like Scheming Symmetry ; Some cheaper CMC (and $) demons to consider are Abyssal Persecutor and Desecration Demon . Rakdos, the Showstopper is also an OK one-sided board wipe as well. This could also open you up to cheaper CMC devils and Imps such as Rakdos Cackler or Vexing Devil . Overall I like the theme a lot and I think it has potential to be really disgusting.

Hey, I didn't suggest to cut the Apostles, keep the Apostles. they're good and the best parts of your deck :)
I suggested Chainer, Nightmare Adept as General because he gives you more interaction with Apostles as well as reanimation which is good backup plan with Demons. Casting Apostles for one mana from your graveyard and giving the Demon you cheat into play with Apostles haste are interactions that make Apostles better. With Chainer you can abuse creatures for reanimation of Demons such as Doomed Necromancer and Apprentice Necromancer . After discarding one of these Necromancers or a Demon, Chainer lets you cast one of these Necromancers from your graveyard and then because of haste you can use them right away to reanimate the Demon you just discarded and that Demon can attack with haste.
Rakdos, the Showstopper as General doesn't have interaction with Apostles other than they can tutor for and put Demons onto the battlefield, but they can already do this meaning Rakdos is not adding anything to help with the Apostle strategy. Showstopper is better as a Demon in the 99, not General, therefore Apostles can tutor for it. Rakdos, Lord of Riots is better than Showstopper and Riots is good with Demons, but not good with Apostles. You will want to change your deck quite a lot if using Riots as Commander.

Any sort of ETB effect will be perfect.
- Gray Merchant of Asphodel
- Rakdos, the Showstopper
- Demanding Dragon
- Rapacious Dragon <-- free mana
- Shadowborn Demon <-- A beautiful engine for Chainer
- Abhorrent Overlord
Also Flameshadow Conjuring would be perfect to get double triggers off of your creatures, and it gives the token haste so you can swing without losing much since it'd be exiled at your end step anyway. This way you get twice the value off of the ETB and you can swing for some boardstate pressure.
HERE is a list of creatures in Rakdos that have Madness.
