Aurelia leads a host of dazzling, avenging angels. Ramp into mid-sized and large angels and alpha strike with Aurelia offering a second combat stage. Cards like Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, Selfless Spirit and Akroma's Will help protect her army. The deck has a reanimation subtheme with cards like Emeria, The Sky Ruin, Marshall's Anthem, Angelic Renewal, Resurrection and reanimating angels bring back fallen comrades.

This is a relatively casual Angel tribal build. There is no infinite combo with Helm of the Host or Aggravated Assault/Sword of Feast and Famine.

ANGELS

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight: Boros staple. She incentivizes opponents to attack each other and leave you alone as they only do half damage. You can deal a terrifying amount of damage with just her and Aurelia out.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope: Also needs no introduction. She and Gisela are the most powerful angels in the deck.

Archangel Avacyn  : An angel who protects your board at instant speed and is a decent sized threat in her own right.

Akroma, Angel of Wrath: Top of the curve angel who acts as a finisher when she starts swinging with the team.

Angelic Aribiter: This angel slows opponents right down, forcing them to make the difficult choice between attacking or casting spells.

Bruna, the Fading Light  , Emeria Shepherd, Angel of Serenity and Karmic Guide: The reanimation angels that bring their fallen comrades back from the grave.

Angelic Skirmisher: She grants a keyword ability to your team each combat, meaning that with Aurelia's extra combat step she can grant two abilities per turn. I usually grant lifelink the first combat and vigilance the second combat.

Angel of Invention, Gisela, the Broken Blade  , and Baneslayer Angel: These angels come with a word salad of keywords.

Archangel of Thune: Pumping angel that quickly buffs her sisters into massive threats.

Lyra Dawnbringer: Pumps other angels as well as coming with solid keywords herself.

Angel of Sanctions: An Oblivion Ring on a stick. This guy can also reanimate himself for more removal.

Angel of Finality and Angel of Jubilation: These are both meta considerations. Black is by far the most popular colour in my playgroup and these angels shut down some of Black's antics: graveyard recursion, paying life, and sacrificing for abilities.

Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice: I usually use her ability on herself, making her a 4/5 flying, vigilance, trample beater for 4. There are a few angels that qualify for her mentor ability if you use her pump ability on herself, including the Commander.

Serra the Benevolent: Either spawns Serra Angels or pumps the whole team.

Equipment Package

Aurelia's army synergizes with equipment quite nicely, particularly weapons that trigger on attack or combat damage with Aurelia's two combat steps. Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, Open the Armory, and Enlightened Tutor all help find the equipment needed in the moment.

Sword of Fire and Ice and Mask of Memory help with card draw while.

Sword of the Animist and Sword of Feast and Famine help our angels ramp.

Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots give our angels helpful Haste and protection. Plus they look cute in their boots.

Embercleave helps act as a surprise finisher, buffing an avenging angel.
