Miraculous Recovery
Instant
Return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. Put a +1/+1 counter on it.

legendofa on How Are Black, White, and …
White returns small creatures, usually mana value 3 or less, from your graveyard to the battlefield. It can also occasionally return larger creatures for 4-5 mana. This is usually flavored as a burst of divine energy, renewed hope, or unexpected survival. Breath of Life, Return Triumphant, Miraculous Recovery, and Helping Hand are examples.
Black is the best at self-reanimation. It also had the most mana-efficient general-use reanimator spells, but generally needs to pay 4+ mana under current design patterns. These modern spells usually grant a significant bonus to or alongside the returned creature or can pull from any graveyard. It's also the best color at moving creature cards from graveyard to hand. The flavor here is blasphemous and/or unholy necromancy or sheer stubbornness and determination. Reanimate, Bloodsoaked Champion, Necromantic Selection, Return to Action, and Raise Dead are some examples here.
Green is the best color for returning any permanent or any card from your graveyard to your hand. It has almost no ability to return creatures directly to the battlefield, although it can return lands. Green recursion effects tend to be flavored as natural growth, historical significance, healing energy, or stockpiled supplies. Regrowth, Bygone Marvels, Elven Cache, and Reviving Melody are examples.
In combination, white-green doesn't have a lot of recursion, focusing instead on stamina, community, and life and health. Reborn Hope and Atzocan Seer are a couple of examples.
Black-green is known as one of the strongest color pairs for graveyard interaction. It can reliably return creatures to the battlefield and other cards to hand. Flavorwise, scavenging, fungal undeath, and physical resilience show up in addition to the other black and green flavors. Back for More, Golgari Findbroker, and Bloodbond March are examples here.
White-black also has a lot of creature reanimation, as well as artifacts and enchantments. The flavor is a little loose outside of its white and black components, but heretical rituals are a minor theme. Priest of Fell Rites, Graceful Restoration, and Immortal Servitude are examples.

Super Shivan

Green has lots of stuff like Noxious Revival and Bala Ged Recovery Flip that can get your Shivan out of the graveyard, and as I've pointed out there are some White cards that let you reanimate it if it's dead (or iirc take it out of exile if someone exiles it, with Pull from Eternity).
I looked up to see if there were some more decent White reanimator effects, there is Karmic Guide (also provides a blocker), Defy Death (pretty bad), Invoke Justice (better but how do you cast this!), Enduring Renewal (really, really janky), Second Sunrise (very situational), Angelic Renewal (seems good), Breath of Life (solid), Cleric Class (mana hungry/low synergy with deck), Elspeth Conquers Death (maybe?), False Defeat ($$$), Late to Dinner (good), Marshal's Anthem (mana!), Miraculous Recovery (good), Resurrection (fine), Reya Dawnbringer (so much mana). There is probably a few more, but here is a starting point, I think with your Commander the Sorcery ones make a lot of sense, but a creature that can repeatedly reanimate Shivan seem like better fits but I don't know how annoying it will be to Egg into them.

@Thebestnoob there are indeed spells that reanimate. Proclamation of Rebirth , Tethmos High Priest , Breath of Life , False Defeat , Late to Dinner , Ramosian Revivalist , Resurrection , Timely Hordemate , Bishop of Rebirth , Defy Death , Karmic Guide and Miraculous Recovery , just to name a few. Not sure what specific format you’re looking to build in, but there are options in most.

- Nyxborn Shieldmate for Boros Reckoner both better creatures and reckoner works amazing with lightmines if u decide to add it
- Palace Guard for Archetype of Aggression
Artifacts
- Darksteel Plate for Whispersilk Cloak since your guys are invincible anyways. this also deters them from being targeted.. boardwipes will still work though.
- Stoneforge Masterwork for Tenza, Godo's Maul if up u this on ur commander hes a 10/7 menance with trample, seems like a better piece
- Armory of Iroas - Sunforger costs a few more mana but u have alot of tricks u can pull out of it for free late game
- Staff of Nin for Mind's Eye
- Avacyn's Collar for Spear of Heliod upgrades all ur doods and makes people scared to attack you
- Manalith for Commander's Sphere an upgrade
SORCERIES
- Act of Treason for Faithless Looting card draw with flashback seems always good
- Mass Mutiny - Mob Rule seems like an upgrade
INSTANTS
- Miraculous Recovery - Settle the Wreckage amazing board wipe, can really put you ahead. if not interested in a board wipe id suggest maybe a single target removal like Chaos Warp . i feel like you need ways to deal with high pressure threats
- Pay No Heed - Deflecting Palm
- Righteousness for Fight to the Death i know these two cards arent related, but how hilarious would it be to cast this when someone else is combating another player, basically can wipe two players boards if timed proper. if u would prefer to keep a combat trick here i would suggest maybe Gods Willing or something that does not require the creature to be blocking
- Smite - Ride Down
- Warleader's Helix - Savage Beating or Ajani Vengeant i feel helix doesnt provide enough value, for removal it is very weak , if u want good removal to replace this instead of a threats i listed, i would consider Oblivion Ring type cards
- Martial Glory - Boros Charm charm is must include, so much value! protect from boardwipes including land destruction! removal or maybe boost ur commander after blocks with a double strike if some1 is already been hit once and hello 21 commander dmg

McToters: Nice idea for it - I was debating on running removal effects, but largely against them since recurring them requires me targeting my own stuff, but that is a nice work around. bonus point - it means Assemble the Legion can pull double duty.
I don't think that Miraculous Recovery or its ilk will work, so that gives me a bit of room for token production.

lil_cheez, I've thrown Miraculous Recovery in to test it. I'm not a fan of Herald of the Host, or the Myriad mechanic generally, because it aggravates all opponents. It makes it difficult to cut deals on who to attack and who to leave alone because it sends an attacked at everyone.
Etoilebane, Heald of War is definitely on theme. I find it a bit too slow though. I like to be able to ramp early into my angels.
Thanks for your feedback!
