There's nothing I love more than stupidly big, green creatures. And that's what Ghalta is. He's a humongous dinosaur that can evade the commander tax and punch you really hard in the face.

The first time I saw Ghalta he was on the other side of the board in a 1-on-1 commander match. He came out on turn 4 and I just couldn't deal with him. That's when I learned just how sad it is when you lose on commander damage.

So naturally I made a deck with Ghalta as the commander. And not just any deck -- no, anyone can make a Ghalta deck. I decided to make a unique Ghalta that could function in a great many unexpected ways. He's big and he's going to be unblockable, but I love the look on people's face when instead of attacking, I sacrifice him.

So here are some of my favorite included combos for this deck:

• Use the many equipment that make him unblockable or only blockable by one creature to get commander damage through

• The trifecta combination of General's Kabuto + Hot Soup + Magebane Armor

• The better trifecta of General's Kabuto + Nemesis Mask + Neko-Te

• Get out Death's Presence and Feed the Pack so I can sac Ghalta and start a token machine while buffing every one of my creatures to ridiculous levels and keep playing Ghalta on the cheap

• Combo Druid's Call with Nemesis Mask to get a whole bunch of Squirrels. Or just use the Druid's Call so people have to choose between a chump block that gives you squirrels or dealing lethal damage to Ghalta and giving you more squirrels

• Use the Nemesis Mask and the Infiltration Lens for some card draw. Add the Kusari-Gama here to wipe someone's board. You can also just use Infiltration Lens or Kusari-Gama to make people think really hard about whether they want to block the jolly green giant

• Use the Dragon Throne of Tarkir to buff all of your creatures to ridiculous levels. Combine with Overwhelming Stampede and/or Pathbreaker Ibex for true insanity.
