This deck revolves around Wizards, untaping and inflicting damage upon our own creatures for profit, maximizing Nin, the Pain Artist's ability.

Card Breakdown

This is a blue Wizards tribal deck and the idea is to get out creatures that can tolerate some damage from the commander Nin, the Pain Artist and use here as card draw engine.

Masochists

Several creatures enjoy damage such as Stuffy Doll, Illusory Ambusher, Darksteel Myr and Thassa, God of the Sea.

Untapping

Untaping Nin, other wizards and mana rocks, allowing combos and shenanigans, is possible thanks to cards such as Aphetto Alchemist, Pemmin's Aura, Fatestitcher, Thousand-Year Elixir, Minamo, School at Water's Edge, Mind Over Matter and Ral Zarek.

Wizards

Since we have all these untaping options, we take advantage of that by playing some guys like Arcanis the Omnipotent, Beguiler of Wills, Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Viashino Heretic and Mercurial Chemister and no less than 9 mana rocks.

Stealing small creatures with Beguiler of Wills and letting Nin go to work is fun ;)

Deathping

Nin is made into a deathpinger with Gorgon's Head and Basilisk Collar. These also work fine with Izzet Staticaster, Stuffy Doll, Mercurial Chemister and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind.

Trinket Mage can fetch both equipments or Sol Ring/Everflowing Chalice if they are already out.

Utilities

Double the amount of cards drawn with Rings of Brighthearth which also have plenty of synergy with other wizards. Training Grounds gives 2 extra cards each time Nin uses her ability and turns Ertai, Wizard Adept into a Counterspell on a stick. Thousand-Year Elixir allows haste to all wizards and can untap stuff.

Theme cards

Riptide Laboratory will keep our wizards protected and allow us to bounce Snapcaster Mage and Trinket Mage as well as abuse Azami, Lady of Scrolls (Wizards can be tapped as soon as they enter). Diviner's Wand instantly equips for free to any wizard and has several ways to combo of the rest of the deck.

Winners

Psychosis Crawler is the main badass in this deck but there are several other ways to win. Check below.

Winning Combos

• Mind Over Matter + Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind Do damage equal to our library size

• Consecrated Sphinx + Nin, the Pain Artist Kill enemy creatures and draw cards for it

• Nin, the Pain Artist + Psychosis Crawler Pinging one of our creatures for card draw and all opponents loose life.

• Diviner's Wand + Mind Over Matter + any wizard that taps for card draw. Filter as many cards as we want and swing with a creature that big.

• Arcanis the Omnipotent + Mind Over Matter Draw as many cards as we want.

• Arjun, the Shifting Flame + Psychosis Crawler Alot of damage to each opponent every time we cast a spell.

• Arjun, the Shifting Flame + Chasm Skulker Make fatty!

• And countless other combinations of the above that would all lead to some pretty powerful effects if we can keep them on the board.

Other winners are Insurrection and Rite of Replication.

Other

Also some staple control type sweepers and some counter-spells are here. Maybe not enough to be competitive but I don't like building decks where one just jams in all the staples one can find.

There probably is some room for improvement but it's a start at least. Would be happy to hear your suggestions and opinions...
