I need stuff that goes against everyone and I can't go the 0 cost creature + enchantment that gives me life thing because someone will just shut it down and I won't ever get to do it often enough for it to make sense and it would also be the only thing I could do.

What I wanna be mindful of is that people are gonna pay that life so my creatures are gonna die so I need to do this a bunch fast and also every time it needs to hurt in some other way than just the 3 life and maybe me gaining one. that way is everyone discards or everyone sacrifices or everyone gets damage. get those cards.

Here's the thing (and I had this strategy before but forgot about it): have only creatures that do things to a single player or opponent on ETB or death and ask someone that isnt affected by it to pay the three life. so I can have opponent A discard a card, ask opponent B or C if they pay 3 life which they might not and repeat until opponent A has no cards (or is dead if it's a thing that makes them lose life)

0 cost creature + enchantment that gives life on cast doesnt work cause players can just pay 3 life. what this needs to focus on is shutting down all creature existence with the instadeath enchantments and then habe creatures and stuff that can still do stuff for me even if they immediately die.

The idea is that I have my commander out which makes everything that dies go to my hand instead, then I have some enchantment out which makes most creatures I have die instantly, and then then I just need a way for any creature I play to give me more mana than it costs or cost nothing and have an ETB trigger.

For example, I have another enchantment out that gives me 1 life everytime a creature dies, so I play ornithopter for 0, it dies, I get a life etc.

athreos, god of passage + heartless summoning = artifact creatures that cost 2 or less coming into play for free, coming back to my hand, coming into play etc.

need: athreos or enduring renewal, heartless summoning and myr moonvessel, priest of gix and such carnival of souls also gives 1 black mana on each summon

Possible Combos (Athreos plus...): HEARTLESS SUMMONING (2 Cost less and -1/-1) + any CREATURE that costs 2 or less and has 1 toughness or less and has an ETB Any Permanent that as an effect on my creatures dying or entering and creatures that cost 0 and have 0 toughness Any permanent that lets me sacrifice creatures for free and creatures that cost 0 but have toughness >= 1 Any permanent that instantly kills creatures and creatures that have ETB triggers and
