Glint Hawk Idol

Artifact

Whenever another artifact enters the battlefield under your control, you may have Glint Hawk Idol become a 2/2 artifact creature with flying until end of turn.

I've been considering Golem Foundry tricks for some time now. I've been thinking things like using Ornithopter, Bone Saw, Lotus Petal, etc. as free artifact casts. You could also replace some basics with Seat of the Synod & Tree of Tales to Affinity-cast Frogmites and Myr Enforcers, upping your artifact-casting-triggers.

I personally am going to try something with Golem Foundry and Glint Hawk Idol, Tooth of Chiss-Goria & Scale of Chiss-Goria.

Maybe some of that gives you ideas. =)

Yes. The Oracle text on Grafted Wargear now says "Whenever Grafted Wargear becomes unattached from a permanent, sacrifice that permanent," not "sacrifice that creature," because if the creature stops being a creature (as in your example), the equipment will become unattached and trigger. I actually had this scenario happen at the New Phyrexia pre-release many years ago with a Grafted Exoskeleton (which was printed with the updated wording of "permanent") equipped to a Glint Hawk Idol.

Hello I really like your deck, but why Glint Hawk Idol? To have some kind of flying creature?

I think the biggest problem with your deck is that your own Supreme Verdict will hit you hard.

You need creatures that can "avoid" it. Celestial Colonnade and Gideon Jura are good options. You can attack with them when necessary and they can evade Suppreme Verdict

Other good options are: Wurmcoil Engine, Batterskull, Kitchen Finks. All of them will get destroyed, but at least you get something from it

If you are on a budget, AEtherling is the card for your deck. It avoids a bunch of stuff, it can become unblockable and you can pump it for the win. Another options for a budget deck: Faerie Conclave, Ojutai Monument, Glint Hawk Idol, Foriysian Totem, Azorius Keyrune, Chimeric Staff

This is not very good - mono W robots really needs the 8 artifact lands. There is really not enough aggression in this list. Lower the curve a lot more. Add:

2x Ardent Recruit
2x Auriok Sunchaser
1x Sanctum Gargoyle (they work well together, returning each other when they die, making a nice late game loop)
1x Court Homunculus
4x Porcelain Legionnaire
1x Bonded Construct
4x Glint Hawk Idol

Cut the following:

3x Thraben Inspector
4x Alchemist's Vial
3x Angelic Purge
2x Celestial Flare
1x custodi squire
